Congratulations!!! I love Sophia Juliet, I think it is honestly stunning! Ethan and Sophia would be absolutely perfect. From youre list I do also love Juliana and Amelia. Lily has always been a long standing favourite for me and I love all of the variants, Lillian, Lilianna, Lilia etc.

Thanks everyone. It looks like Amelie Jayne and Amelie Clara are the clear front runners so far
Yes, my name is Fleur! Oh wow, that is such a coincedence! Yes, I actually really Amelie Willow as well, oh goodness, its so hard to choose. Thank goodness we have a while yet!
I really love both Oliver Addison and Oliver Louis, thank you.
Inga: I’m glad you like both Amelie and Oliver. I think Charlie and Oliver would be fantastic as well.
Ash that is such a coincidence! Amelie Clara is a serious contender right now, I’m utterly in love. I really like Amelie Elisabeth aswell (I think I prefer the ‘s’ in there instead of the’z’ right now). As for other family names: there is Willow (my little sisters name. Fleur and Willow, see the connection, haha!), Mary (not great with Amelie), Rosa, Francesca.
Yes, Addison is a name that actually goes waay back in my family. My grandmother has a family tree and I’m pretty sure my great-great-grandad had this name. Addison and Avery are most certainly still boys names over here and I seriously hope it says that way, aha! Charles Avery and Oliver Addison would be a lovely sibset, do you think Oliver Addison? I don’t really know. Oliver Louis is really lovely as well.
Thanks for the input, its much appreciated.
Where has the year gone? 2013 was all of a blur, wow! Happy 2014 everyone, hope you have a great one!
Jasonlovessara: that melted my heart. Jack is the cutest!
My favourite part: watching Charlie open his presents with a massive grin stuck on his face and then dancing round the room in his pyjamas when he opened it
Thank you Ash! It was quit hectic but we had a great time!
I’m so glad you like Amelie and Oliver. Yes, those three names are still in, Amelie Jayne is the current favourite! We were thinking of branching out a little bit and using some other names so middle name suggestions are very welcome at this stage. Our sons middle name is also my husbands fathers middle name, so my husband suggested that we use my mum’s middle name, Clara. What are your thoughts on Amelie Clara?
As for Oliver, we never really had any middle names in mind for him. Paul, Louis, Addison, Robert, Andrew are all family names that go waay back.
I absolutely love the name Noah, its very popular over here in the UK, but what the heck, its a gorgeous name nonetheless. Daniel has never really been on my list and I have never really liked it. There’s no particular reason I don’t think, its just not really my style. However I do really like the flow of Daniel Florian, it sounds quite aesome actually. Noah Atticus, beautifully classic. I love the name Atticus, mainly for my love to To kill a Mockingbird

Just the one sprog here! Charles is pretty much always Charlie. Although I have started calling him just Charles at the moment. My mum calls him Charlesy quite a bit though. We are also very creative!

I think Lillian Serafina would be absolutely darling!
I think I’m going to be the only one who actually quite likes the name Aviva. Even though its totally not my style, I do like it. However, I’m not sure if its the same for you, but over here in the UK, its the name of an insurance company.
Haha, ash you do make me smile! I actually went to school with a Lydia Bennett and she was the complete opposite of the character in P+P.
My first thought when I saw the name on this thread was ‘ooh thats a really pretty name’. Adele, the singer, did not even come into my head until after I had clicked onto the thread. Adele is VERY popular over here in the UK, however I think its still a very usable name and I would love to meet a little girl named Adele. I actually picture a girl named Adele looking the exact opposite of what the singer looks like. I see her as being a little blond haired girl with a cheeky personality.
Ash: im so glad! Yes, I do love Jane in P+P. I also quite like Lydia, even though I agree she was spoiled, haha! I love the nn Liddy as well, very cute!
Englishlily: Thank you so much! It means so much to me that other people actually like the names I love
Thank you embra! I actually really love the name Nicholas
Thanks for the replies everyone!
Ash: I’m am very much in love with Pride and Prejudice ever since studying it at school. Do you think that Lydia Jayne is too P+P?? I’m glad you like Georgiana, its just a little bit more unusual and unexpected than any of the other names on my list. I have to agree that the nn’s for it are quite stunning!
TwoSapphires: I have the same problem over here in the UK. William is just so popular and I would hate to see him just get lost in a sea of Wills/Liam’s. But I also don’t think I’m brave enough to use Arthur.
Clementine: Jayne is a family, hence the reason the Y is in their. It’s my mothers name. I know William is very popular, i’m not sure if I would be brave enough (as stated above) to use Arthur. Would Charles (my eldest) and Arthur work? Hmm
Least favourite: definitely how much everything costs these days. Charlie is BIG into lego but everything is just so expensive! I agree, I don’t like it when people make it seem as though Christmas is only about giving and receiving gifts.
Most favourite: everything else! I love smell of christmas, its just so lovely. Watching Charlie opening his presents and the look of joy on his face when he gets what he wants. I actually rather enjoy christmas shopping too, picking out special little presents for a special member of my family. And christmas dinner, mmm.
Can you tell I’m excited for Christmas?

My four year old son does. As a kid, i loved the idea of Santa coming down our chimney and leaving us little gifts. Of course, I grew up in a religious home and so we were taught the true meaning of Christmas too. Charlie also knows the true meaning of Christmas but I think its nice for them to believe in Santa, there’s no harm in it.
Embra: I love the idea that you leave little presents to people in your neighbourhood. I’m going to have to do that with Charlie this year, I’m sure he’s love it!
