We have two; one with our church (a very big one) and one with all of their cousins. My daughter loves the one at church for it’s size, but Silas tends to shy away from the big crowds, so it depends on your family. Typically, big hunts limit the number of eggs to around ten or twelve per child, so there aren’t many people who hog them all. At least in my experience. :)

I’m American of Scandinavian heritage, mother tongue is English, and I’ve only ever said it Sam-well, lol ;)

For an acquaintance I typically buy a pack of diapers (I usually avoid buying newborn size because that is what everyone buys, I get some for when the baby is a little bigger) and a smaller accessory or two, likes socks, a hat/headband, a bib or burp cloth, or washrags for baby.

For a friend, I do the pack of diapers and an outfit and maybe an accessory, too.

For a close friend or family member, it really depends on what each family needs/wants. We’ve done anything from a crib and changing table to an outfit and diapers to a breast pump to a baby food making and storing system.

Nolan built our kids a “fort” about a year ago. It has a tire swing on the side of it, but overall isn’t your typical swing set.

We were inspired by a fort like this that our friends built (this one is from pinterest): http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/33/cd/82/33cd82e67f84de77e1c53df2597bc6fa.jpg

Ours isn’t near that tall and doesn’t have a slide (or all of that fancy decor that any sort of bad weather would ruin, lol). It also has a cross bar on the side with an old tire as a swing. We were going for safari-tent style. It was pretty basic, and our friends own a business and gave us discount lumber, so we didn’t end up spending much. Nolan really wants to add a “rock climbing” wall to the side opposite the swing so we may do that soon so the kids can play on it this summer. He’s obsessed with building things, lol.

I love Samuel, and Sam is so friendly.

Just wondering, how do YOU pronounce it? I’ve heard it said so many different ways. I say it Sam-well, but I’ve heard it Sam-yull, Sam-you-ell, Sam-you-ull, etc.

I got my teal flats along with the same pair in yellow a couple years ago from TJ Maxx. It was a great purchase!

I just met a little girl named Oriana. It made me think of your Orielle so I thought I’d mention it :)

I love Julia, and I’ve never been a big fan of Lily. I like names like Lillian and Liliana, but I’ve just never really loved Lily. I think Julia is timeless, elegant, and underused. :)

Hard choice! They are both great. I’m going to have to say Evangeline, though. I love the nickname Eva.

I like Benson a lot, and Carson is nice. I’m biased towards Nolan, though, as that is my husband’s name. ;)

So my vote goes to Nolan, but you can’t go wrong whatever you choose.

I wore skinny jeans, bright teal flats, and a white three button polo (one with a little teal ralph lauren horse, hence the flats ;) )

My husband and I are hooked on twice baked potatoes. We found this AMAZING recipe for spinach/feta/chicken ones on pinterest and had it for dinner last week and it was to die for! We typically do basic cheese ones, but there are so many variations :)
