My middle name is Marie, also a “filler name,” but it is my Aunt’s name. It also honors many Mary’s in the family (including my mom who has Mary as her mn). I have to admit it does sound good with just about everything! When I have children I would like to use a family name/honor someone with the middle name, but I am concerned about offending people too.

TwilitAmity- I like how your boys & girls’ lists have distinct styles. Nina Violet & Una Reese are soooo pretty. Orielle is pretty too, but it would bug me being the only one that didn’t end in ‘a’ like the others?
Esmerelda- I don’t think your list is random at all, they all seem like they’d go well in the same sibset!
marhogjo – Sam & Charlie are super cute I have August on my list!
marhogjo – I’d love to see Charlotte & Penelope in the same sibset! I really like the combos Henry Isaac (I usually don’t like Isaac!) and Owen Augustus. I like Graeme Oliver too but prefer the spelling Graham. Magnus is too much for me and Ryan Casey are two common surnames which would bother me a little bit.
Colton is cute, always makes me think of a little cowboy
Similar to that…
I have to agree with thewishingstar as well :/ I’ve only seen/heard it as Whelan and usually as a last name
- Olivia: really popular, but popular for a reason
- Nora (french): Always sounded kind of harsh and abrupt to me
- Delphine (french): okay..reminds me of “dolphin” when I look at it though lol
- Clary: definitely strange. I’d like Claire
- Beatrice: Bea is adorable and Beatrice ages well
- Analeigh: I agree it needs two ns, otherwise I love the sound of it
- Demelza: Not a fan.
- Simone: Love this one, especially in the mn spot. Unfortunately it’s a common last name in my area
My favorites are Olivia,Simone & Analeigh spelled Annaleigh
Born today: Anabelle Selah (not sure how to prn this name either!? See-lah I assume?) Big brother is Benjamin Riley
Sariah is pretty and way better than the plain “Sarah,” although it may get mistaken for it. I didn’t think of psoriasis, but I do know someone named Sarai (Sa-rye) that it reminded me of.
Overall, Aurora is the safer option and I adore Rory!!
*or el-sil-iya sorry
A friend named her daughter Elsilia Jean I’ve never heard of Elsilia.. I only saw it printed, not heard it prn so not sure…? EL-CIL-IA or EL-CIL-IA??
I’m glad to hear other people’s change daily! Haha
Twosapphires: Lila Josephine <3333 is perfection
Tara: I feel like my MN choices are fillers too but they are also connections to both living and deceased relatives so that’s way more important to me than the “perfect sound” etc.

Not a huge fan of Rumi.. I didn’t think of ‘roomy’ necessarily but my first impression was that it was a name of Indian origin? I used to like the name Remy/Remi for a girl before someone (on this forum) told me that it had a negative connotation where they were from and that was enough for me to cross it off the list.
I like Oscar or Lenin better from your choices, but don’t be discouraged if you love the name-you could be on to the next trendy name!!
Inga: I LOVE the flow of Leo Alexander especially next to Ethan Xavier! I love all your girls combos too-can’t choose a favorite!
mrswrathell: I love your consistent, classic list. I wish my style was narrowed down! haha Owen Alexander is my favorite of yours too…hmmm…I really seem to favor anything paired with Alexander!
Lola Coraline is gorgeous! (I like it muchhh better hehe) And yes, Olivette is super cool! You’re very lucky to have so many fun names in your family tree to inspire you!
hm I would have thought Oakley was a boy and Maven was a girl! The others I like (minus Kieryn especially on a girl) but I really like Pierson & Reeve!
How about Girls:
Hadley or Henley
Brinley or Breelyn
Radley or Ridley
Beacon or Deacon
