i like it. it would be cool to meet someone named moira. its a vintagey uncommon name. the oi part sounds a bit strange. but i like names ending in ra and starting with m so this works. moira jane is pretty. clemence doesnt sound girly

ive heard this name. i believe its french and ive heard it pronounded no-eh-MEE. it sounds a bit more french that way. the way you said, no-EH-mee sounds more english. either way its the same just with emphasis in a different spot. i think its really easy. it could be confused wit h naomi but its a variation i believe. people should be smart enough to get it right. but alot of times they arent.. its a great name. i like it better than naomi

ok i looovee may kathleen. i know i already said maya kathleen to avoid two 1 syllable names. but may kathleen is more classic yet so cute nowadays and it goes better with henry thomas. its completley unexpected next to all the isabellas (frilly popular) and the (brinleys) trendy unisex names. i can think of some 1 syllable sur names that may would sound ok with. for example may wicks, may holtz. i know a mae who is from thailand and she is so adorable. so i can picture it on a person too.

dashiell is cool and masculine. ive only heard it on name boards and videos. and its always pronounced DASH-ull. that sounds cool. but i dont know why its spelled this way. to me the spelling looks like da-shee-ELL.

ellery is a cool different old fashioned sounding name. it could grow on me.

i first thought is maya kathleen. so pretty and it would go much better with a 1 syllable last name. i love henry thomas and may kathleen too. but if the last name is one syllable it might sound choppy.

i would say cora-line. i tend to read all names ending in line differently. for coraline, i say cora-line. for madeline, i say mad-a-lynn. for emmeline i say emma-leen. i dont really like coraline. i think it would be confused with the old fashioned caroline. i like cora though.

maggie is cute and it goes great with your other girls. i dont like margaret at all. id pair maggie with a longer classic name like your other girls. i like

    maggie susanna
    maggie rebecca

o boy. i just realized i focus so much on girls that i kind of ignore a boys list. at this very second id go with

    owen
    caleb
    derek

    i like your combos

wow didnt know that about amanda. i agree sophia has a more classic appeal to it so it could stay even though its super popular now.

phlutegirl, really good point! thats why i think it is so hard choosing a girls name. names rise greatly in popularity and fall fast each decade or two. debra is a great example. also jennifer of the 70s and 80s, Amanda of the 90s and unfortunately the same may happen to the beautiful sophia of current times.

i love suri. too bad it has such a strong association. scarlett is pretty. i dont like serene. i like serena. this name should be used more. not a huge fan of sheryl. it sounds dated. and i much prefer the cheryl spelling. i do love sherri.

oh damn i said liliana but im torn now. both are great names. im still deciding if evangeline is too much. but i love evie and i dont like eve, eva, evelyn. evangeline is the best evie name i think

both names are cute but i like claire better. i love the nn evie but i cant decide on a full name for it. not to crazy about eve, eva, evelyn. i like evangeline but cant decide if its too grand. and i think evie is too cutsey on its own. madelief looks very strange to me. ive never heard of this variation. eva madeleine/madeline claire is great.

i was also thinking, i can picture this name on a beautiful african american, indian or middle eastern girl. but i cant see it as well on a white or asian. although i did know a chinese, korean girl named this. but she pronounced it jeh-ju-meen. lol. so it took me a while to realize she was saying jasmine. thats how koreans would pronounce it. i assume spanish would say has-meen although ive never heard that. i also like the arabic yasmin. pronounced yas-meen not yazz-min.
