I desperately NEED new ones but it seems I can never find one that I like, fits well and isn’t a hundred dollars. Any advice??

Torrid. I can only get cute ones in my size there. Not even Victorias Secret carries my size. They aren’t incredibly expensive either. Like 40 dollars instead of 50+ at VS

I get them at Lane Bryant – they are expensive but twice a year they have an awesome sale where I can get 4 bras for under $60

Do you know when the next sale is Sara? Do you have a specific kind you like?

Just saw they are having a $25 off $75 sale. Might take advantage of it!

Lane Bryant’s are GREAT but just be aware that they start at 36C (IIRC). My band size is a little too small now but I miss their bras!

My current favorites are Soma and http://www.barenecessities.com. I’ve heard Nordstrom is great (especially for fittings) if you have one near you. I wish I did!

I usually wear 36DD or there about so that’s in my range. However, I measured myself today and got something WAY off. Like way smaller that I know that I am. It’d be nice to get professionally measured sometime. I’m just hoping and praying the ones I ordered work. I’ll just return them if not.

This video is long, but WELL worth watching if you want to know how to measure yourself more accurately than what you’ll get at most stores (even “specialty” stores like Victoria’s Secret and, in my experience, Soma, tend to be off because they use the old formula of adding 4-5″ to get your band size so most women end up with a band that’s too big and cups that are too small):

This thread has a lot of helpful info too; it explains some things well:

I wish I was a 36dd But I am a 48F and have even more problems getting a bra (I live in Scotland) I have to rely on catalogues or a specialist lingerie shop that is exorbitant in its prices for a feminine bra (last one cost me £55 around $80) and was awful to wear as the lace scratched. I looked good though! Lol. If I ever get the money I’m going to open a catalogue store on the web for larger women so they can have really delicious lingerie.

Glad you found some good ones, Kendra!

And jee45, I’m sorry! Have you tried http://www.brastop.com (which is in the UK)? I am a hard-to-find size as well (30G) and pretty much always have to order online. TI’ve gotten a couple from brastop; they have really good deals on excellent brands and a wide range of sizes.

I usually shop VS. I’ve purchased bras elsewhere, such as Kohls and Target, but they just don’t hold up long.
