Juniper Ella is kind of cute. Maybe nn Juney? Vaida is pretty, but I’d like it better with Jo as a middle name. I like Lainey as a nn for Delaney or Elaine, but it sounds incomplete as a full name. Delaney Violet of Delaney Jo would be pretty.

Lavinia Estelle – Lavinia’s kind of pretty, different. I don’t like Estelle, I find it kind of uptight. I like Stella, though, would you consider that as an alternative? Would still honor your family, but it’s a bit more modern.
Estelle Zoe – Zoe’s cute! And it makes such a nice middle name.
Hadleigh Ella-Jo – Hadleigh seems like a hard name to go through life with – you’d have to spell it for everyone, and it’s not particularly pretty or feminine, but also not a boys name. I dunno, it’s not my style. I like Ella a lot, and I think Ella-Jo is cute, though I’m not crazy about hyphenated names…
Vaida Estelle – Vaida’s a bit too odd for me, might get weird looks.
Estelle Violet – Love Violet, such a pretty, classic name. I actually like the combination with Estelle, too.
Imogen Ella – Not crazy about Imogen – I’ve always thought it sounds like a disease, though I can appreciate it’s history and uniqueness. Ella’s still lovely.
Lainey Estelle – Ooh, I love Lainey. I’ve been trying to come up with a full name to use it as a nickname for with little luck (I don’t like Delaney, though Laine’s okay), but I think it could work on it’s own pretty well too!
Juniper Ella – I love Juniper!! It’s so cute and spunky, and not really very common even though it’s not bizarre. And I really adore the nickname Juney. Ella works pretty well with it, too. Though maybe Juniper Zoe would work too??
Estelle Kenzie – Kenzie’s cute! I’ve always sort of hesitated to like it for a first name after the popularity of McKenzie, but I think it’s really sweet as a middle name.

I think Vaida is my favorite of your options. I imagine she’d get Darth Vader jokes but other than that I like it.

I like what embra had to say – Juniper with Junny as a nn
kimihaParticipant9 months ago
Lavinia Estelle Taylor- this is a really cool combo. although im not a big fan of lavinia
Estelle Zoe Taylor- i dont think this really goes. estelle sounds old while zoe sounds modern. i would prefer zoe as a first name and estelle as a middle name also.
Hadleigh Ella-Jo Taylor – like ella. but dont like hadleigh. the had part sounds harsh and not feminine
Vaida Estelle Taylor- dont care for veda. and prefer it spelled this way.
Estelle Violet Taylor- like this one.
Imogen Ella Taylor- like this one
Lainey Estelle Taylor -like this
Juniper Ella Taylor- like this
Estelle Kenzie Taylor- same as estelle zoe. not the best combo.
i think estelle would be an awesome middle name. it would be nice to hear that among all the ann, marie and rose middle names. it sounds classic and old fashioned but it has a nice meaning and sound. and i think its best to have middle names that honor someone.
of your list, i like violet estelle best. in that order. also ella would be great as an alternative to estelle. and i would but that in the first name spot. ella imogen is my fav combo.

Stella Jo would be a nice way to combine all three family names (or even something like Stella Joy or Stella Josephine!).
Lavinia Estelle Taylor – very pretty. Lavinia’s up and coming; a nice alternative to Olivia, I think. Liv, Vinnie, and Nia could all be cute nns… Vinnie’s not really my thing (too reminiscent of Vincent!), but I have heard it get quite a bit of love elsewhere. I think Estelle is just stunning with it.
Estelle Zoe Taylor – so sweet! I like the idea of a little Zoe slightly more than a little Estelle (mainly because I’m not the HUGEST Stella fan), and I think Zoe Estelle sounds slightly better, but I do really like Estelle Zoe a lot, too!
Hadleigh Ella-Jo Taylor – I quite adore Hadley (this spelling!) actually–I love the literary cred and the nature ties. I think Ella’s sweet with it, but if I could switch things around, I would suggest Ella Hadley Josephine, or even just Ella Hadley (although I really like just Hadley Ella, too!). I love both Ella and Hadley.
Vaida Estelle Taylor – meh. I’m not the hugest Vaida/Veda fan, although it is a nice name. I like Vera a lot more (Vera Estelle Taylor would be so perfect!). I love Vera pronounced VAIR-ah, but VEER-ah is nice, too.
Estelle Violet Taylor – I like Violet Estelle Taylor much better (in sound, in appearance, in every way, really!). Violet is a huge favorite of mine, and I’d love to meet a little Violet Estelle Taylor!
Imogen Ella – I can appreciate Imogen, but I don’t love it. I used to like it years ago, but I’m finding it much harder to appreciate it these days. It’s an English gem, but I don’t think many Americans care for it too much. I think Ella Imogen would be cute, though.
Lainey Estelle – I find it incredibly hard to judge this one. On its own merits, I’m not the hugest Laney/Lainey fan. I like Lena (and similar names, like Elena and Eleanor) much more than Laney/Lainey, but och, a little Laney I ADORE was diagnosed with leukemia in May, and this week was given just weeks to live (if that. Her doctors said a day to a couple weeks…). She saved my life five years ago, and it’s so hard watching her die. Lainey is usually too cutesy on its own for me, but I do think Lainey and Estelle mesh well together.
Juniper Ella Taylor – very sweet! I don’t think I’d use Juniper, but I do think it’s lovely, and so natury, and I would love to meet a little Juniper. Ella works so well with it! One of the few places I lovelovelove Ella as a middle. Juniper Taylor is a might rhymey, but not a deal-breaker or anything.
Estelle Kenzie Taylor – not a huge fan of Kenzie. I think you have much better options with Estelle up front.
Estelle Zoe and Juniper Ella are my favorites, but if I could mix and match, Violet Estelle would easily be my favorite, followed by Zoe Estelle, Juniper Ella, Estelle Zoe, and Hadley Ella/Ella Hadley/Ella Hadley Josephine/Hadley Ella Josephine.

I would love if you had the one combo as Violet Estelle!

I like Lavinia Estelle the best! I’ve only heard that name in a book, but I think it’s lovely.
Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions!!!! I would definitely use Stella if I didn’t have a niece already named Stella (my sisters hubbys mom) Rae. My grandfathers mn was Estel and my great grandmothers name was Elle. So Estelle will be a definite, but I do agree it might be better as a mn. If we named her Estelle Violet, I could call her EV *Evie which I love, but would rather have Estelle as mn. Only problem is I cannot for the life of me find a first name I love. Violet is wayyyy popular #52 If we have a boy we’re set on the name Asher Elliot Taylor, and I am regretting not finding out the sex. I need help. My daughters name is Harlow Anna Mae, all of the names are family names (great-grandfather was Doc Harlow). Anyway I need something unique, feminine, not too oopular that gies with Harlow!!! I’m desperate!!

My hubby lives Kenzie and Zoe but I’m not a huge fan. I know 5 Zoes (all sp diffrently but still), and Kenzie to mm e sounds like a nn. I have nit ONCE got an ok thats a good name from hubby. I’m so indesicive. I like Vada *Vaida) because I had a close friend when I was younger that passed so the my girl refrence. Junipers ok. Doesn’t go great with Harlow. Aaahhhhhhh!!!! I am sooooooo hormonal and frustrated and excuse I might cry.
Ok. Just gonna try throwing more out there.

Arabelle Charlotte – so pretty! I love the nns Ari and Bella, and I love Charlotte and Arabelle together. I would slightly prefer to see Arabella Charlotte, Arielle Charlotte, or (my favorite!) Ariella Charlotte. But it is lovely.
Dakota Kenzie – no family ties, right? I’m not a fan of either. I know some people find Dakota offensive, and Kenzie’s too trendy for me.
Elliot Ava – Ava’s fine, but I am not a fan of Elliot on a girl at all. It’s fully masculine, imo. Just because it has been used on girls doesn’t make it a girls’ name. I just don’t find it attractive on a girl at all. I am firmly against most unisex names, in general, but I especially don’t like Elliot on a girl, sorry. I can get behind Eliette (a legitimate French girls’ name), but not Elliot, sorry.
Lennox Arielle – LOVE Arielle (and even more, Ariella), but I just don’t “get” Lennox on a girl. Lena? Yeah, I love it. But I can’t for the life of me picture Lennox working on a girl. I’ve tried. I’ve tried really hard. I just can’t see it.
Austen Ella – I can sort of get behind it because of Jane Austen, but I’m not a huge Austen fan at all, regardless of the gender. I could get behind Ella Austen much more easily.
Sailor Ryelle – nms at all, but it’s okay, I suppose. I like word sea names, like Sailor and Harbor, much more on boys than girls.
Presleigh Taylor – is Taylor not your surname? This whole time I was under the impression that it was! Oops, haha. Presleigh Taylor together is much to unisex for me–I wouldn’t have a clue which gender it was.
Monroe Estela – I like Monroe as a middle, but I’m not a huge fan of Estela. I like Monroe Ella (or Ella Monroe!!!!) or Monroe Estelle much more.
Cambrie and Adley aren’t really my style–I vastly prefer Camille and Hadley–but they’re okay.

Hadleigh Ella-Jo Taylor is definitely my favorite!
PhlutegirlParticipant8 months, 3 weeks ago
Lavinia Estelle is my clear favorite from your list. You could always look up the popularity of Violet for the state in which you live and see if it ranks higher or lower in your state (as opposed to the national ranking of 89 – with only 0.1692% of all babies named Violet in 2012. That’s less than 0.2%!) Have you considered Eleanor Josephine nicknamed Ella or Ella Jo?

Estelle Violet is the only one I really like from your list.
JVitiParticipant8 months, 2 weeks ago
Lavinia Estelle Taylor-nms, 2/10
Estelle Zoe Taylor-nms, 3/10
Hadleigh Ella-Jo Taylor-I like Hadleigh, but not the spelling. And I say go with either Ella or Jo, not both. 6/10
Vaida Estelle Taylor-I dont like Vaida, 1/10
Estelle Violet Taylor- I like Violet Estelle better, but cute 7/10
Imogen Ella Taylor-its ok, not a huge fan of Imogen 4/10
Lainey Estelle Taylor-LOVE Lainey- 9/10
Juniper Ella Taylor-I am not a huge fan of Juniper. 5/10
Estelle Kenzie Taylor-I prefer Mackenzie. 7/10
Have you thought of maybe Joella Estelle Taylor?
embraParticipant8 months, 2 weeks ago
Of the new bunch, I like Juniper Noelle or Arabelle Charlotte best. Maybe one of these names would go well with Harlow?
embraParticipant8 months, 2 weeks ago
A few more from the Golden age of Hollywood, that give a nod to Harlow without being obvious. I’ve included the other name in parenthesis so you know whom I am referencing:
I think Ruby in particular would be pretty cute with Harlow. I personally would not use Monroe for a girl, as it is entirely a male name for me. Maybe if you don’t like Marilyn or Norma Jean, you could use one of her character’s names if you are a fan?
yellowwattsParticipant8 months, 2 weeks ago
Ooohhh Arabelle Charlotte! I’d love Arabella Charlotte even more!
