What do we think of Aaron?

I’ve really been loving it lately–mostly as a MN–and I’m wondering what others think. How cool (or uncool? :( ) is Aaron? What FN would you pair with it?

Right now I have Caleb, Everett, Asher, Jack, Grayson, Avery, Bailey, Samuel, Boaz, Zane, Spencer, Brody, Linus, Leopold, and Grant on my list–would Aaron work with any of those as a MN? (For example, Caleb Aaron, Everett Aaron, Bailey Aaron, etc.)

What would you suggest as a FN for Aaron?

I like it! Classic. I have a nephew named Aaron. :) I think it could work with a lot of your FNs.
    Caleb Aaron
    Everett Aaron
    Jack Aaron
    Samuel Aaron
Spencer Aaron (maybe; a little “r” heavy)
and Grant Aaron I think are the best bets.

I think it’s alright. I’ve met so many of them of my age that I sort of lump it with the Jennifers and Britneys and Kyles, though. Like, I have a hard time imagining it on a little kid because it seems so generation-trendy in my mind. I think it could work pretty well in the right combo, though, especially as a middle name.

I like Spencer Aaron or Samuel Aaron.

I like it. I think Caleb Aaron works best of the ones you listed. I might be drawn to it partly because of East of Eden, which is one of my favorite books. I like it best with a two or more syllable first name that doesn’t start or end with a vowel I think.

I think it’s an ok, pretty classic name BUT I have a negative association with it so I personally would never use it.

As for combos, I think Spencer Aaron has the best flow. Samuel would probably also work ok.

I typically think of Aaron as a first name as opposed to a mn but I like it. I think it will go fine with any of the names you posted but I am partial to Jack

Sara–I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to Aaron as a first name, but I’ve tried looking for combos. There’s honestly no combo I like with Aaron as a FN. I’ve tried multiple times, actually, because I’ve loved Aaron for years. I think for me, it’ll just work better as a middle name, honestly.

I think it’s fun and unexpected in the middle. Any closer to choosing a combo?

Not really, no. I used to really, really love Bailey Aaron and Beckett Aaron (Charles), but I’m not sure I could give up Bailey Oscar Charles, and I don’t love Beckett as much as Everett. And I am not sure I like anything else as much. I had thought maybe with Grant (Grant Aaron Conrad), but I like my other options with Grant (Grant Ewan Conrad, Grant Owen Conrad, Grant Ezra Conrad, Grant Ian Conrad, Grant Ianto Conrad, Grant Elisha Conrad, etc.) more. If I use it, it’d probably be with Bailey (Bailey Aaron Charles?), or with a new crush that I’ve been tossing around. Like Schuyler, Seamus, Judah, Leo(pold), Linus, or Ronan (although Ronan Aaron doesn’t really sound good, haha). I sort of like Schuyler Aaron, Seamus Aaron, and Leopold Aaron… Although something seems off about most of them? I’ve also wanted to use Kuiper (KYE-per) somewhere, but I’m not sure where to put that, either. I was thinking Samuel Kuiper, which I quite like, but I don’t really want to give up Samuel Gaspard John!

I think Samuel Aaron Kuiper sounds great but I know you don’t like the 2-2-2-2 flow…
