Specific Unisex Name Question…

I’m revisiting an old writing project, and I’m trying to change some of the names I was never too solid on originally.

You guys have any ideas for a unisex name (like, really unisex – hear it and it really could go either way type of thing) that contains the sound REE? Like, a name with an -ri- or -ry- in it somewhere, but pronounced with the long E sound. Could be anywhere in the name.

Weirdly specific, I know. I can’t think of anything, really, though. Any ideas?

That’s a tough one, though good job, YW, with the ideas! I think Reese, Adrian and Aubrey could all work well.

Hmm, better than I thought of at least. I have such a hard time imagining Audrey on a boy or Adrian on a girl though (Adrienne, maybe). Reese could work maybe. Open to any other ideas you guys may think of.

Does it have to be spelled the same way for a boy and a girl? If not, Corey/Cori could work.

    I only know female Adrienne’s :)

Oh Corey is a good suggestion too! Also maybe Rory?

I think Reese is a great idea! I hadn’t thought of that, but it seems pretty equally used on each gender. Avery was my first idea. It’s fully masculine to me, but to some people it’s fully feminine, so I think that could work, too. Ari, too, maybe?

Audrey I think is only feminine but Aubrey can be used for either.
    Avery is a great idea!

Carey and Corey are good ideas I totally disn’t think of. Couldn’t use Avery, it’s all male to me. I’m kind if leaning toward Corey or Reese rght now – I’ll have to think on it a while still. Hmm.
