I know we often share these in the “names we’ve heard lately” but I thought it might be good as its own thread. Anyone have some to share?

I just met 3 siblings (5, 3 and 1) named Ava, Owen and Parker. I thought that was a cute combo that goes together well without being matchy … kind of my ideal in sibsets. ;)

Ava, Owen, and Parker are great together!

I just came across a family with quintuplets in Texas (didn’t meet them, haha, just saw a video on MSN). Brady is two, and the quintuplets are Mia, Tessa, Brant, Gracie, and Rayleigh. I think they’re all great, with the exception of Rayleigh. Too rhymey with Brady, and way too cutesy next to all the others! Gracie’s a bit nicknamey, but still really sweet with Mia and Tessa. If I could have tweaked, Brady, Mia, Tessa, Grant, Grace, and Rachel would have been great.

Ash, I agree with you on the quints’ names!

Kimiha, I really like Sean, Noel and Owen; they go together really well. Vincent and Lily is sweet, too.

hmm im not a fan of the way sean noel and owen go together. im intrigued by phinnea and calder. those names are too out there for me to use but i like the way they sound and i think they match well together. i like the other ones mentioned here. ava owen and parker are great. and the one ash mentioned. i would tweak it to brady, mia, tessa, grant, grace and rachel too. great names. i dont mind brant and gracie. but i prefer grant to brant. and rayleigh is just not good

Just heard that someone I used to go to church with named her baby girl Cady (like Katie). She joins big brother Cody. :/

Tonight at gymnastics……Asher (around 4-5) and newborn sister Nadia. Ramona (not sure of spelling (around 5-6) and new baby sister Vada (not sure of spelling but pronounced VAY-duh).

I like both of those sets, yellowwatts. (I love Nadia!)
But yeah, Cady and Cody are just a bit matchy for my taste. ;)

My sister-in-law’s kids are Guadalupe (girl, 8), Anthony (boy, 6), Daniel (boy, 4), and baby boy due in June.
My brother-in-law’s kids are Heliel (boy, 5), Kelly (girl, 3) and Loremy (girl, 4 months).

Heliel and Loremy are intriguing. I’ve never seen them before.

The H in Heliel is silent. I found online that it is usually spelled Eliel and is a Hebrew name meaning “My God is God.” I’m pretty sure Loremy was made up. It is pronounced Lor-eh-mi. It possibly could be a combination of the parents’ names, Lorenza and Miguel. My in-laws are Mexican, by the way.

    Lily (7), Russell (5) & Lila (nb)
I think Lily & Lila are way too similar especially with those spellings!

Elise and Emmett is the newest one I’ve heard lately.

Elise & Emmett are nice. I heard another too-similar set (in my opinion): Amelia & Mia

This isn’t really new, but some of the other posts reminds me of them. I went to school with a family of boys named Freeman, Coleman, and McMahon (pronounced Mc-MAN, so it rhymes with the other two). I always thought that alone they’re all fine, but together they sounded a little ridiculous.

Oh those are too similar. And very surnamey all together!

Yeah those are definitely too matchy for my taste!
