I’m new on here and I just wanted your opinions on 2 of my favorite names. I love them as first names but also as middle name. I’ve always like unique but pretty names for middle names. Here are a few combos I absolutely love

    Rosemary Amethyst
    Mary Amethyst
    Jane Amethyst
    Catherine Amethyst
    Sara Amethyst
    Laurel Amethyst`

    Alice Primrose
    Evelyn Primrose
    Georgiana Primrose
    Esther Primrose
    Eleanor Primrose
    Anna Primrose

So what do you think? Do you have any favorites or other suggestions?? Thank you!!

I like Catherine Amethyst and Laurel Amethyst!
I’m not a fan of Primrose–the whole “prim” part puts me off–but it’s not bad as a middle name and I think Eleanor or Anna sound pretty with it.

I also like Catherine Amethyst best of your options. I’d avoid Rosemary Amethyst because then you have two obvious “things” as names. I think you can get away with Laurel Amethyst because Laurel is so close to Laura and Lauren so Laurel is not immediately be associated with the plant (for me at least). I think Primrose as a mn would go best with something traditional since Primrose is unusual. However, I think that names that were recently associated with older people wouldn’t go as well with Primrose because they highlight the “prim” part. So I’d skip Evelyn, Esther, and Eleanor with Primrose personally and lean more toward the more timeless Anna, or Catherine or Sara from your first list. I also think Primrose would go well with names that are a bit spunky and youthful. Maybe Lila Primrose, Julia/Juliet Primrose, Nina Primrose, or Tessa Primrose?

    I love Amethyst!

Rosemary Amethyst – kind of a mouthful, plus if you use Rosemary you may not want to use Primrose in the future?
Mary Amethyst – I like the simple, classic names paired with the more unusual
    Jane Amethyst – my favorite
Catherine Amethyst – to “-th” heavy
    Sara Amethyst – I like.
Laurel Amethyst`- too colorful/flowery-like Rosemary Amethyst

I don’t really see what the big deal with “prim” is.. I think Primrose is somehow spunky even with the meaning of “proper” & the formal “Rose.” I like all of the below except Esther.
    Alice Primrose
    Evelyn Primrose
    Georgiana Primrose
    Esther Primrose
    Eleanor Primrose
    Anna Primrose

i love all those combos. catherine amethyst is a bit of a mouthful but it works. otherwise all beautiful. i like primrose and amethyst. they work as unique first names but they are especially awesome middle names. i think a child would be happy to have them next to everyone elses middle names of rose, ann, mae, marie, beth.
