ha! LCD, I love Irish names for boys. Declan’s on my list, and I’ve considered Rory, Killian, and Ciaran seriously. I just don’t like Irish girls’ names, lol. I’m seriously thinking of actually adding Rory–I adore it, and I think Emmeline and Rory, or Isabelle and Rory, would be adorable together!

Ahhh okay, I’ll take it ;) I love Ciaran & Declan (Killian is too harsh sounding for me). I really like Emmeline or Isabelle with Rory! All three would be a great sibset actually! Do you like Cian/Kian?

Cian/Kian? Nope, haha. Then again, I knew a Filipina girl named Kathryn, nn Kian, in college, so I just am confused by Cian in general, lol (her sister was Charlene nn Shy, which also confuses me, lol!). I do love Ciaran and Cillian, though. :)

I am not as sure about Isabelle and Rory as I was before, but I don’t think they go BAD together. I’m also in love with the idea of Emmeline, Charlotte, and Rory as siblings. Emma/Emmy, Lottie, and Rory. How cute is that?!

Cian just popped into my head after seeing Ciaran and Cillian. Emmy, Lottie & Rory is pretty Stinkin cute!

A friend just had an Apollo Jack. (by just I mean like last night, haha) She said when she heard Gwen Steffani use Apollo, she fell in love with the name. She isn’t a huge fan of Steffani, she’d just never heard the name used in modern day before. She already has an Ethan Gray. I’m not a huge fan, but I think the little guy pulls it off :)

I also met a Colt the other day, not short for Colton or anything. I thought it was odd, but maybe a fresh twist on Cole?

Kymry. it reminded me of Kamryn. It’s very y heavy but otherwise sounds cute. Did I mention she was a middle aged woman though?! Kimri or Kimry maybe?

    Came across these today:

Miani/Mianny (mee-AHN-ee; not sure how it was spelled? She was a little cutie, though!)
Rinher (rhymes with “miner”. Not sure where they got it, but I rather liked it! He was a cute kid, and it doesn’t come across as totally made up. In fact, spelled Rhyner, I would assume it was preppy and German. IDK, there’s something about it that I like)
    Joana

Also, my sister’s boyfriend’s family know’s someone who recently welcomed an Isis Genevieve. I’m not a fan of mythology names, but Isis is unusual at least. I like Iris much more. Both my sister and I found it ironic that his family were making fun of Isis (apparently, they thought it was awful), but her boyfriend’s niece is Rydia (my sister, and I quote, said that Rydia “is just begging to be an STD.” hahaha!).

    Miani is cute.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of Isis, either. To me it sounds like a villainness; someone cold and icy and evil. It’s pretty in a way though, but I do like Iris better. (Also, isn’t Isis the dog’s name on Downton Abbey?)

I know brothers named Vincent and Dominic (the latter was just born). I really love that sibset.

I agree with Isis sounding kind of evil.
Vincent and Dominic is a great set!
I heard: Rowdy. kind of cute in a cowboy way, but hopefully he doesn’t live up to his name!!
    And a : William Remington

Did you hear about the lady last week who had a baby unexpectedly and named him General Lee???

General Lee?! I think that’s a lot to live up to, for one, but it also sounds like Generally! Who wants to be known as Generally?! :(

I am not a huge fan of Rowdy, either, but I know of a family with two boys, Easton and Rowdy. I think they live in the midwest. It’s an intriguing cowboy name, but I wouldn’t go near it with a 10-foot pole, personally. :/

I was driving my sister home from school today when I saw a huge banner hanging in someone’s yard of my hometown: “Welcome Home Cyrus!” I kid you not, I nearly started bawling right there. Apparently he was a soldier home from the Middle East after serving a tour of duty. I get really sappy when it comes to details about the military, haha, and och! Cyrus. What a great name for a soldier (what a great name in general!).

It won’t let me edit to add this, but I was just watching HIMYM with my dad, and Lily and Marshall end up having baby number 2! I think the show’s been going down the tubes this season, but I’m intrigued by the baby names. Baby 1 was Marvin, after Marshall’s dad, who had recently passed, and now their daughter is Daisy. I wonder if that has any significance? I do love Daisy for them, though! But Marvin and Daisy seem so mismatched! And Ted’s kids end up being Penelope “Penny” and Luke. Which are totally him and the mother, too.

I’m always intrigued by the names characters choose on TV shows!

Wow yeah, I like Daisy but it does seem like a pretty eclectic combination with Marvin!

I just came across a baby Judson on FB and I like it.

Agnes was the one name there that popped out as being like: really??! And she knows TWO!?
Gorman and two Camilles are interesting too

I have a cousin Rowdy, but it’s a she and she’s in her late fourties.

Agnes is a trend in my town, one of my Rosemary’s best friends is an Agnes and there is one in my middle kid’s aquarium class. I know three others besides those two. And there’s an Agatha in my daughters class. Everybody thinks the nickname Aggie is “to die for.”
