I don’t blame you, Ash; I wouldn’t want to share a name with my uncle either. :)

It was Pathfinder Sabbath at church this weekend! (I don’t expect most of you to understand what that is, haha, but it’s basically the youth group of our church, and there’s lots and lots of chapters of this type of youth group throughout my denomination, and they have a special service each year.) So I heard some new names:

    Isaiah
    Elvis and Oscar (brothers)
    Nigel
    Ever (boy)
    Kristian (big sister is Kailey)
    Jared
Matt and Rachel (I’m assuming Matt’s short for Matthew)

    I do love Isaiah. :)

Today I met a little girl named Zarielle. Not my usual style but I thought it was a pretty name (and adorable kid)!

    Nursery names today:
Nolan, Kaden, Bryce, Vanessa and Zoie

I love Wilder, Mallory! The others I could care less about, haha.

Today I met two cute little kids named McKenna and Evan (not sure of the spelling, but that’s what they sounded like). Not siblings, but the kids were both pretty cute. :)

I’ve also heard Georgia and Sebastian lately, and I love those, as well!

Yesterday I saw a couple names on the wall at my sister’s high school. The two that stood out were Claudine (girl) and Praise (boy). Praise! How cool is that? I wouldn’t ever use it, but it’s totally become my GP now. I like it better for a girl, but I guess I could see it on a boy, since it sounds similar to Blaise and Chase…

I just met triplets named Langley, Dayne and Bryce.

I also met a little Hadley this morning. First one I’ve met IRL though I’ve e-known several. :)

Ash, have you heard of Becky Freeman? She’s a Christian writer who has a daughter named Rachel Praise.

    Charlotte Drew
    (Big brother Cole)
Thought both were cute :) I was surprised how much I kind of liked the short, masculine name paired with Charlotte

Names of the kids in the preschool class I am working in:
    Amie (pronounced like Amy)
    Arali (Ah-rah-lie)
    Ariellys (Ah-ree-ell-is)
    Bryan
    Elijah x2
    Ethan
    Jay’Vion
    Jazanay
    Jorden
    Kemar
    Lucas
    Magali (Ma-GAH-lee)
    Maya (My-uh)
    Preston
    Sequo
    Terrance
Tyre (Goes by “Abe” because mn is Abraham)
    Ziajah (Z-eye-ay-jah)

So many of these names I have never heard before, but now I am liking Ariellys, Jayvion (without an apostrophy), Magali, Preston, and Ziajah. I probably wouldn’t use any of them, but they are cute names.

Erm, no, I’ve not heard of her at all, actually! But I absolutely love Rachel Praise!

A few others I’ve been saving up (since I don’t want to be the only one commenting on this for DAYS, lol…):

    Rory
    Clark
    Noelle
Georgine (although I keep seeing it spelled Georjean, so I’m not sure if that’s how it’s actually spelled, or if that’s just how people keep misspelling it…)
Corinna (I’ve seen this several times, actually!)

I was so psyched to see Rory on a guy! I love Rory.

Yay, Ash, an Irish one for your list?! :) I like Rory too & also much prefer it on a boy. There is also Ruari prn more like Ro-Ree but I like the spelling- it’s a little more masculine looking to me than Rory.

Georgine is cute! I like Corinna, too; I have a friend with a DD whose MN is Corrina.
I do like Rory on a boy. I know one Ruari and it’s a girl.

I think Ariellys is pretty, though the spelling is a little confusing.

    Two Sapphires,
I think Ariellys is a “made up” name. The spelling makes sense in Spanish because the vowels make different sounds. Actually, the two l’s make no sense because they wouldn’t make that sound in Spanish. I hear a lot of different names working in the public schools.
