    Ash, I’m surprised; I don’t think I’ve ever known a Tatiana! I do think it’s a cute name though!
    I do like Kieran too.

I took my sister to the dentist today (she had to have a tooth extracted!), and there was a cute little boy there named Carson. :)

I’ve also come across Dominic lately (eeek!), and I know a family who is planning on naming number 5 Dulc!nea nn Daisy. How cute is that?! They already have Casp!an, Zeph@n, 3ve (nn Evie), and Peregr!ne nn Pippin.

A friend of a friend just named her daughter Lilyanna. Can’t say I’m crazy about the spelling, but it’s a cute name!

I met a couple with an adorable boy Henry who is going to be a big brother and they are naming the baby Walter! They said it is just a name they both liked and agreed on, he isn’t named after anyone. I’m all for older names (like Henry) making a come back but Walter?!

Today I came across 3ish-year-old twins named Jennifer and Tiffany. It was a surprise to meet sisters so young who both had such 70s/80s names!

I came across a baby girl named Kasana. I haven’t heard that name before and couldn’t find it here on this site.

I was talking to my coworker about her kids today, since she came in crying, barely able to tell us all that she was getting custody of her kids back. :) I am so beyond excited for her–I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Her two boys are so happy to be going back home, and I can’t wait for the day! Anyhow, I asked her about their names because I was curious, and apparently she has five kids altogether, but only the two were separated from her (ages 15 and 10).

Sean _____ (not sure about his middle–she said it, but I completely forgot!)
    Heather Marie
    Lindsay Nicole
Samuel Vincent (omgoodness, how classy and cool is this?! The real winner amongst the five, imo. I would love to meet a Samuel Vincent, and I could even see myself using something like this…)
    Christopher Michael

Anyhow. Most of them seemed pretty dated/predictable to me, but I thought Samuel Vincent was so special! I love hearing coworkers’ kids names, haha. I think I’ve mentioned all the others I know–there are 2 Isabellas (one Isabella has three big brothers, Josef, Marco, and Luca), a Lydia (who is to be a big sister in about 8 months! Eek, I’m excited for baby, haha), and another family, Isaiah, Elias, and Ava. Oh, and another sibset, Roland and Gwen. I think my coworkers have pretty good taste, honestly!

    Today I came across:

Sophia and Jonathan “Sophie and Jonny” (I usually HATE the nn Johnny–it’s my brother’s nn, and I like Jack a million times better, and I just find Johnny so annoying and childish, but I thought these two were adorable together, and I thought it was so refreshing to hear Jonathan on a little boy. :) )
    Fidelia
    Ruby

There was a family visiting our church from Nigeria today, too, and there were about four kids, but I wasn’t able to catch any names. I’m sure they would have been AMAZING, but nobody seemed to be able to pronounce them. le sigh.

There’s a guy in one of my classes named AJ. Just AJ. It’s not short for anything, and he doesn’t have a middle name (he explained it to the teacher today).

There’s a little boy in our MOPS group named Mox. Also saw a little Mary (under 18 months) yesterday. You don’t hear that much anymore.

Yeah, they are really great names. :)

    I like Eliza!

We know a couple named Pat and Lori and I just found out their given names are Pasquale and Lorelei! Much more exotic than their nicknames. ;)
