What do y’all think of the middle name- Tate (Reed)? I know you typically don’t have two 1 syllable names but several people say it flows well. Any suggestions???

Mmm, it’s OK. I do think it would sound better with a longer middle name, at least 2 syllables but I think 3 could sound good, too. How long is your last name?

Our last name is Rorie(pronounced roar-e)2 syllables.

Hmm I’m not wild about the flow of Tate Reed Rorie. It’s pretty “r”-heavy. Are there any other middle names you like?

    Tate Parker
    Tate Bronson
Looks like I can’t stay away from the r’s.

I think Tate Bronson Rorie works! I like the Gavin suggestion too.
Just curious; do you mind the nicknames Tater/Tater Tot? I’m guessing he’ll get those a lot.

    Ooh, I love Tate!
I agree, though, with your short-ish last name, I’d definitely go for something 2- or 3-syllables for the middle name, and avoid too many Rs. I think Tate Bronson works pretty well!

I like Tate ok. Not something I use but certainly better than lots of names being used these days! My first thought for a middle name was Andrew.

Lol. I know a boy named Tate, and he is called Tater-Tot a lot, and Tatums. He doesn’t mind it though.
You could change his name to Tatum, to make it a bit longer, if you like the name, and then you can stick with a one syllable MN.

But anyhoo, here are some suggestions for the name Tate:

    Tate Malcom
    Tate Calvin
    Tate Samuel
    Tate Markus/Lukas
    Tate Gavin
    Tate Michael
    Tate Marvin
    Tate Lee/Leed
