Little worried!!!

Hello everyone. I found out a couple of weeks earlier I am pregnant. I went to my OB last Wednesday for my first prenatal appointment and I am 7 weeks 5 days now!!! I was suuuper excited because we were able to see my baby’s heart beat :) Anyway, after I had that ultrasound (which happens to be the most uncomfortable thing in the whole world) I had a bleeding, It was not too big and with no cramps, so my DR said it was pretty normal and I shouldn’t worry. Nevertheless it has been amost 3 days from that and althought I am not bleeding now, I keep spotting whenever I wipe. I have called my DR a couple of times and he always says that as long as it doesn’t increase or is accompanied with cramps me and my baby will be fine.

I’m still kind of worried though. Any advices out there?

Spotting is pretty common with pregnancy. I think it’s good you’re checking in with your dr to be sure, but most women who have some spotting end up having healthy pregnancies; hopefully that will be the case for you, too! Keep us posted.

hi there anamaria85, your doctor is right and it is normal as long as it is not heavy bleeding. Let me also share with you a site where you could see why the doctors call it estimated due date, good luck and do not worry much. http://www.babyduedatecalculator.net/articles/top-5-reasons-why-doctors-call-it-estimated-due-date.html
