I think that Lincoln is a really strong, handsome name. I feel like it’s been growing in popularity lately, too.

I like it pretty well! I agree it’s gotten a little more popular lately, but it’s still not that common.

It seems president’s last names are really common now. I have never met a boy named Lincoln, but working in the public schools I have met: Kennedy (girl), Carter (boy), Harrison (boy), and I knew an adult woman named Reagan. I don’t like last names as first names, but I think this could work.

I like Lincoln, wouldn’t use it, but the nn Link is cute. One of the Teen Mom’s had a Lincoln recently (which I think is a weird fit with her first son’s name, Isaac). I agree it is growing in popularity

Lincoln isn’t my style, but I love Link as a nickname. I don’t think it’s too weird, but it’s definitely an identifiable surname so it just depends if that bothers you.

I’m not a really fan, I see it as really surname-y and really obviously associated with Abraham Lincoln. It’s not horrible, but I’ve just never really seen the appeal. And I really don’t like the nickname Link, I think it’s so cheesy…

I love Lincoln as a boys name. I can’t use it because it’s where OH comes from and where we plan to live! I also adore the nickname Link, as a Legend of Zelda fan :)
