I just put the veggies out in front of Kaylyn, if she says she does not like them before even trying them, I tell her she has to take a few bites to see if she likes them before deciding! Even if she takes 1 bite and says she don’t like it, I tell her she has to take a couple more bites to truly know if she likes them or not! 9 out of 10 times she eats them all! Her favorite vegetable is corn on the cob!

The best way I have found to get kids to try veggies is by eating a bowl in front of them as a “snack” and not offer them any.

Bahaha! I love that, Embra! “Monkey see, monkey do.”

I like having a “sauce” with it. Like ranch dressing to dip raw veggies in or melted cheese (nacho or american) over cooked/steamed broccoli &/or cauliflower. …I have dipped raw broccoli in nacho cheese; that’s pretty tastey, too. And I just realized that’s fondue. Haha. …Could get a little fondue set.

I discovered last night that telling Alex that our friends had grown the cucumbers and yellow squash for us in her garden made him really excited about both (he’d never been a big squash fan before but he ate it all!).
