My Susanna crush is back. If I were to name a little girl today, I would go with Susanna and call her Zanna as a nn. (Not necessarily like in school and stuff; it’s what I at least would call her. If she wanted to go by the more conventional Susie, Anna/Annie, etc., then by all means.)

    I would say:

    Susanna Josephine

    Leo Simon

But a close second would be Lucy Coraline and Isaac Hudson.

    Today:

    Isabelle Aurora Grace

    or

    Everett Joshua Charles

LOVE Susanna “Zanna” and Leo! So cool.

I’ve also been really crushing on Emmeline and Rory lately. I think they make such a charming duo, too!

I have still have no idea what we’d pick for a girl (Claire, Sophia, some form of Julia, maybe even Amelia?). If we have a girl we may be one of those who wait to see her to finalize the name. I so prefer having everything planned out ahead of time, though.

Our boy name has been set for awhile, so it’s obvious that would be Leo (Leo Alexander at the moment). Easy :)

Without input from the other half, it would be Lucinda Peta Rose and Maximilian Peter. Having said that, Antonia might sneak in there ahead of Lucinda for honorary reasons (Antonia Peta Katherine).

Inga, I think those are all good options!

Thanks, lcd! :) I really like your choices, too!

Esmerelda, I think Antonia is really pretty. I like Maximilian a lot, too!

Mine feel really out there in comparison to everyone else’s, but I’d pick:
Caspian Indigo Edmund or Pandora Beatrix Fae
Btw, I like at least one name out of everyone’s faves, they’re lovely. :)

You all have such lovely choices!

I’m stuck in a bit of a name rut and, to make it even worse, I’m due in a few short weeks. I’d say maybe Benjamin for a boy and Amelia for a girl.

Our daughter is going to be named Noemi Xochitl, which means beautiful flower.
If she were a boy, our name we had picked out was Cenon Luis. Cenon is my fiance’s grandfather’s name who passed away (actually spelled Zenon).

Kimiha I love Olivia & Kieran! Same with vivnoles – Benjamin and Amelia are great, classic choices! Jenni_lynn91 Noemi is stunning (way more refreshing than Naomi). & I know a Zenon, I Think his name is really cool and totally fits him! Why did you change the spelling?

    lcd1912,
Thank you. I had an aunt named Naomi and I always liked that name, and I met a little girl named Nohemy (Noemi) and I like how I have never heard it before so I’m hoping she will be the only one with her name in her class. I am changing the spelling of Zenon because it is pronounced Say-NON, not ZEE-non. Zenon and Cenon are pronounced the same in Spanish, but not in English. Also, I would think of the movie Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.

Ohh The little boy I know pronounced it Zen-in. I never would have thought to prn it Zee-non. I like your spelling best with how you’re intending it to be pronounced.

Today? Liliana for a girl, just because it’s so springy and I’m so excited for winter to be over, haha. And either Addison, Abbott “Bo”, or Rory for a little guy.

Liliana is a great pick. :) I really love Lily and Liliana and would probably go with them if there weren’t so many Lil- names these days.

Actually if I had to pick *today* I would go with Julia Evangeline (yes, I have come back to Julia again. I freaking love it sound-wise enough to maybe get past the whole “downy-bearded youth” thing. ;) )

If I were naming a boy today (without DH’s input :P ), I think I would go with Desmond Joshua.
