We’re supposed to get ice tonight, but then it’s supposed to warm up. I’ve never been so ready for spring! I’m just hoping we won’t get snow March 30th like last year. That’s just not right. Thinking warm happy thought at this point.

as i looked out the door to my back patio this morning (which no one has set foot on for over 2 months becuase we stopped shoveling it 9 inches ago) and saw an icicle longer than gigi is tall on a neighboring structure i declared. “Winter, i surrender” b/c in the books i read if you surrender and pay the besieging army money they go away.

My 5 year old daughter who usually loves snow says “Mommy, I am sick of snow!!!”

She could not be any more sick of it than me! Snow snow go away, I don’t care if you never come my way! (Until next winter that is!)

    Haha gammy! Good thinking!

I mean when the exception becomes going to school instead of being at home for a snow day, it gets too repetitive and boring.

I am usually shocked if the snow sticks! We rarely get snow where we live. We have had two snow storms this year. I am done. It was pretty funny when my son asked if we should be shoveling the walk….. we had no idea where to place the shoveled snow!! We are inept at this snow stuff. We also did not know to keep the windshield wipers up so they do not freeze to the windshield, or that we should not leave 7 inches of snow on the windshield (my son found out the hard way, his windshield cracked). Feel free to laugh at us. We sure did!
