My favorite from your girls’ list would be Kaia for sure. I really like it!
From your boys’ list, I think either Griffin or Ezra would be your best bets.

Vaida – I’m not a fan, it sounds really exotic to me. Not too difficult, but too unusual for me.
Estelle – Pretty, a little uncommon but simple enough. I like Stella, too, or what about Esmeralda?
Imogen – Not my style, it sounds like a disease to me…
Lainey – Way cute!! I’ve been trying to find a longer name to use Lainey as a nickname for, but I think it would be really nice just on it’s own, too.
Kaia – Pretty, simple, a little unusual but common enough these days. I like it!

Wilder – Eh, it’s a little too cowboy-y to me. Could be nice, but it could also come off as kind of cheesy…
Griffin – Honestly I’ve never met someone named Griffin who was likable, so I’m kind of biased against it. Plus, it’s a mythical creature. TO me it’s like naming your kid Unicorn and I find it odd. Not my style, sorry.
Holden – I like it! Stong, literary, a bit unique these days. COuld be a great choice!
Cyrus – I only think of Miley Cyrus these days and I can’t say I would want my child to be associated with her right now…
Ezra – I’ve always found Ezra to be incredibly feminine-sounding. It doesn’t appeal to me at all, though I can see why people like it. Different, yet simple and classical.

I like Kaia and Ezra best. Lainey is cute, but I think of it more as a nn for something else like Delaney or Elaine.

I like Kaia, Estelle, and Lainey, and all of the boys names. For Lainey, I think it might be better to make it a nn for a more grown-up sounding name, such as Laine or Elaine.

Thanks. Here are the reasons we like each one…..

Vaida is from the movie My Girl (although sp. Vada) and also my favorite childhood movie. I have literally watched it hundreds of times. Such a moving movie.

Estelle is a combo of my grandfather Estel and great-grandmother Elle’s names

Imogen sounds like Emma Jen NN Imi (Emmy) is also a family name and from one of my fav books.

Lainey I think is super adorable but I HATE all the grown-up sounding names except for Delaney and my hubby vetoed that one immediately.

Kaia is super sweet and has meanings in three diff languages (means sea, willow tree, and earth)

Wilder is literally the only name my hubby has suggested so I want to keep it as a maybe, but I don’t love the name.

Griffin is ok. I like the NN Fin, my daughter is obsessed with it.

Holden I have always loved but my hubby has meet a few and they were apparently a holes, but that shouldn’t count against it completely

Cyrus is a really old name. There have been a few leaders with this name, but I hate to admit I do not like the Miley association. In fact I do not like anything associated with that whole family.

Ezra is my ultimate boy name. However my hubby also thinks it sounds feminine. However I’ve only known male Ezras so I do not agree.

Since these names are not set in stone yet. Maybe I could have some suggestions on uncommon names that are similar to my list??? I do not want anything off the wall but I don’t won’t my child to be number 3 or number 20 of whatever name when he or she goes to school.
