Christmas outfits?

Just wondering what everyone is doing this year for Christmas outfits for yourself/kid(s)?

I *might* get a red sweater dress for myself, or I might go with the dark red sweater I wore last year, along with a black maxi skirt, black boots and maybe my silvery-gray scarf. (Since we’re celebrating Christmas in a different state this year than last year, I can get away with re-using my outfit. ;))

DH has a red sweater he’ll probably wear. I’m not sure about the boys yet though. I have a couple sweaters in red and/or navy they might wear. My best friend just mailed me a box of clothes her boys have outgrown and she told me there are some Christmas outfit possibilities in there, too, so we’ll see. :)

Those outfits will be for the Christmas Eve service and then Christmas morning we’ll probably stay in our PJs for a while.

Nothing special for DH and I. I have no clue what I’ll wear. The girls each have a long sleeve white shirt paired with a skirt. My oldest is wearing a green chevron skirt, my youngest is wearing a red chevron skirt and the middle one is wearing a green and red chevron skirt. They are wearing flower rosette necklaces that I made them.

For me, something out of my closet. Probably a red long-sleeved scoop-necked cotton shirt and either a long black skirt or black slacks (let’s face it, probably the slacks as I will be freezing). Oh, and likely a black flowy cardigan for the aforementioned freezing part. For my husband, a dark red dress shirt and khakis of some sort. For my daughter, a cream colored top with navy leggings and a navy skirt that is taffeta (I think) on the outside and navy sequins on the inside. Not my style at all, but it was from my mom last year, and when else will she wear it? Mom tends to buy clothes too big for the kids so DD hasn’t worn it yet. For little man, a red pullover sweater with a blue and red plaid button down shirt underneath (if it still fits) and some variety of pants that are not sweats or jeans (we’ll just say pants TBA).

Me: Probably Jeans and a Red glittery sweater!

Husband: Jeans and a submarine sweat shirt (original I know! Eye roll)

Daughter: Some pretty dress we either find while shopping this coming weekend or one from her closet! :) She LOVES dresses!

Ethan has his Christmas sing-a-long at school tomorrow, so he’ll be dressed holiday-ish. He’s wearing a shawl collar sweater that’s charcoal grey with red stripes, a grey tee underneath, dark “skinny” jeans and one of his two pairs of shoes (adidas blue with red stripes and velcro). For a backup shirt, he has a red mini-cord button up ralph lauren shirt that was handed down from a cousin. He’ll probably wear that for Christmas dinner. Everything but the shoes was second hand, either store bought or hand me down (but still new looking), so we obviously didn’t spend a ton. Maybe I should use that money to buy myself a nice outfit! I have no idea what I’m going to wear.
