Bub 4 due in around 9 weeks and no boy name picked.

    Hi.
My partner and I are expecting baby number 4 in around 9 weeks.
I’m pretty satisfied with a girl list being close to what we would choose.
    Boys however…..
We have a Hayden, a Rachael and a Loretta. I like two syllable boy names which are strong sounding and not over used.
Any help/suggestions would be great. I keep coming up with lists that I like for a week or so.. then decide against.
I have a few in the pipeline… but whether they will stay there until next week.. or next month is another thing. :P :P

P.s. I am open to an old fashioned/modern blend of names… to a point if that makes any sense? One of “his” middle names will be Leonard or Leo. If that helps. Not really into Edward or Arthur.. or any names like that. Thanks in advance.

Hmm … well, personally I love Leo for a first name! :)

A few thoughts, though I’m not sure if they suit your style:

    Ethan
    Wyatt
    Griffin
    Weston
    Archer
    Landon
    Dalton
    Garrett
    Lucas
    Emmett

Also, your use of “bub” makes me think you might be in a country other than the US, so I’m not sure what popularity levels are there for these names. Anyhow, hope you guys find the perfect name for your new little one!

    Thanks TwoSapphires..
    Spot on with everything. :)

Love most of your name suggestions. Thank you
A few were on my “maybe” list.
Ethan ( my partner doesn’t like it – although it was originally THE name for me)
Wyatt (not something I had considered – but I don’t mind it)
    Griffin ( had maybe’d this one )
Weston ( I have been toying with Wesley after my Grandfather)
Archer ( not a name I had considered)
Landon ( a name I have just discoverd…and am growing quite fond of)
Dalton ( could take it or leave it… not overly fussed on it).
Garrett ( a name I have recently discovered. Don’t dislike it – not one of my favourites)
Lucas ( quite like this one)
Emmett ( not a name I could see us using – but don’t hate it).

And you are right.. I’m not from/in America.. I’m from Australia. Pretty impressed you picked that up. Clever woman you!! :)
Will definitely be taking a few of your suggestions on board.
    Thank You heaps.

I’ve had some good friends from England, Australia and NZ and I’ve noticed them using “bub” for baby but I don’t think I’ve heard an American say it. :) Anyhow, glad I could help a little! Let us know what you end up going with! Or feel free to post name polls and such if you have a hard time narrowing it down; there are a bunch of us here who love names and enjoy discussing them so post away!

Ooh yeah, Levi is a good one.
Brennan is one of DH’s favorite boys’ names.

Okay.. so so far the names on the boy list are -

*Wesley ( I like it – and it is my Grandfather’s name – so it will be either used as a first or second name).

*Landon ( I like it .. but uncertain of best spelling , how it would be received here in Australia (how popular) , nicknames associated or best used with it and if there would be significant teasing. Having said that .. it IS top of the list for me).

*Lachlan ( but partner has a nephew already by this name so a bit??? Also a pretty common name over here… and I’d prefer sensible/nice .. but NOT common)

*Travis ( I do like this… but it ‘s mid way on my liking it list)

*Layne ( not sure how you would spell it.. Laine, Lane, Layne… ?? I do like it ..however it’s not top of the name list for me – although it is on it)

Would love to be able to narrow it down to two or three names. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I think Leo Wesley would be handsome.
