Boy Name Suggestions?

The two boy names that myself and my boyfriend agree on are Max and Arthur. I have doubts about Max, though, due to its popularity and Ben’s reluctance at a longer version. Arthur is in the top 100 here which is slightly off-putting but not a deal breaker…though I don’t like it with the middle names Peter Ernest / Ernest Peter (which are set in stone for family reasons).

Any suggestions of other names we may like (purely hypothetical – no baby on the way!)?

He likes Roger which I’m not keen on, and tends to lean towards classic popular choices like James. I love Dashiell, Stellan, Orion but he thinks they’re too ‘weird’.

Our girl choices are Antonia and Mina.

Honestly, I do not like Max just on it’s own. I think it needs to be a nickname for something longer to really be taken seriously. Just Max is a dog name. Arthur I agree sounds kind of off with the middle names. It rhymes too much with Peter!

Like your boyfriend, I prefer “classic”-ish boys names. Maybe some of these?:
    Allen
    Andrew
    Leon
    William
    Alexander
    Richard
    George
    Rylan
    Theodore
    Benjamin
    Jeffrey
    Laurent
    Harrison
    Bentley
    Emmett
    Oliver
    Darren
    Damien
    Wesley
    Quinton
    Nathan
    Vincent
    Steven
    Landon
    Zachary
    Jason
    Tristan
    Francis
    Nicholas
    Maddox

I love Max! Not wild about Arthur.
    I like Antonia, too.

I like Max but not Arthur. I like James, Stellan & Orion but not Roger or Dashiell.

How about August, Henry, Elias, Silas, Pierce, Quinn

    Your girl choices are pretty!

Some other options that are classic, but more unusual. I am assuming the “Peter Ernest” order of middle names for these because I think it is easier to say:
    Gideon
    Leo
    Abram
    Ezra
    Levi
    Errol
    Monroe
    Calvin
    Ephraim
    Graham
