A quick ‘which do you prefer’ for a boy or girl. Jane, Lucelia & Tollak are family names.

    Girl:
    Aurelia Jane (Ellie? Ella?)
    Kerensa Jane (Kerry? Ensa?)
    Lucelia Jane (Lucy)

    Boy:
    Alexander Tollak
    Avram Tollak
    James Tollak
    Julian Tollak
    Rhys Tollak

Aurelia Jane! omgoodness, I adore it, and it’s so perfect with Josiah’s and Daphne’s names. Aurelia, Aurelia, Aurelia! How do you pronounce it? I say it ahr-RAY-lee-ah these days, mostly, so I would probably use the nn Ari (or even Lia), but Ella’s sweet, too. I don’t LOVE Lucy, but I think Lucelia nn Lucy would be adorable with Josiah and Daphne.

From your boys’ list, they’re all nice, but I like Rhys Tollak the best. I like Alexander and Julian next best, although I feel like Julian might be a wee bit close to Josiah? Josiah, Daphne, and Julian are nice, though. I know you love James, but I always feel like it’s a let-down after Josiah and Daphne. It’s just so classic that I find it boring, honestly. (Sorry!)

    Good luck!

Ha! I’m impressed that you remember my other kids names after all this time! Awesome, I didn’t know if anyone would remember me, I haven’t been here in ages, certainly not since ParentsConnect disappeared (just learned that today…weird). Nice to see you again, and thank you for the input. :)

Oh, and I don’t really have preference for pronunciation on Aurelia. Honestly, whether I say it aw-RELL-ya or aw-RAY-lee-uh, it ends up sounding really similar. I suppose I slightly prefer the aw-RAY-lee-uh pronunciation, but I wouldn’t be bothered if someone pronounced it the other way.

Definitely Aurelia Jane for girls (if it matters, I say it or-RELL-ee-uh).

For boys I really like Julian Tollak a lot, but if you already have a Josiah, I think it might be too similar to me (same with James). I like Alexander Tollak a lot, too, I think that could be really nice.

Aurelia has always been my favorite name, so of course I choose that. Kerensa is a close second (it has such a lovely meaning!)

I really can’t choose from your boy’s list. They’re all equally handsome in my eyes.

I recognized your username from long ago. I used to be Soleil. Hope you and your kids are doing well!

@Phlutegirl – how did I know you were @soleil? I didn’t want to sound all creaperish, but I totally recognized your favorites, haha!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who recognizes @michappelia, but I feel like I’ve seen her more. She’s occasionally on the other name site I frequent (Nameberry), too.

For what it’s worth, though, I like the aw-RAY-lee-ah prn. :) It sounds more exotic to me, haha. I used to say ah-REEL-ee-ah, though.

Ha! People have totally been creeped out by it, lol. I’m just lucky most people are understanding about it, hahaha.

Lucelia is really cool but Kerensa Jane gets my girl vote. It is so sweet yet sophisticated. Gorgeous.

Julian or Rhys would be my boy pick, probably Rhys as I like the flow with Tollak better. Tollak is pretty interesting, do you know anything about it?

Tollak is my husband’s father’s name, he’s from Norway. Evidently it’s a relatively common name in Norway. I just looked it up and evidently it means ‘Thor’s Play’? I did not know that, lol.

It’s awesome! I definitely prefer it in the middle, but what a cool choice!
