I’m only 5 weeks along but I know it will take awhile to choose just one name so what do you all think of what I have so far? Chinese calendar says its a girl but my gut says boy.
I’m open to all suggestions/comments/changing of combos. Thanks in advance!

    Girls
    Avery Elizabeth
    Ansley Elizabeth
Elizabeth June (June after my mom)
    Isabel June
    Sawyer Elizabeth
    Caroline Reese

    Boys
Brody Andrew/Brody Daniel/Brody Ray (mns are all family names)
    Josiah Graham
    Logan Andrew
Grayson Andrew (although I fear this is the new “it” name)
    Ryder Daniel

I like Caroline Reece for a girl, and for the boys I like Josiah Graham and Logan Andrew.

Isabel June is my favorite! Although I’m biased, as Isabelle is my favorite girls’ name. :) Caroline is lovely, as well.

From your boys’ list, I like Brody the best (love Brody Daniel and Brody Andrew!), but I also REALLY love Josiah Graham, and Grayson is a huge favorite of mine, as well. I worry about teasing potential with Ryder, but I think Ryder Daniel is so handsome, and definitely adorable! Isabel and Brody get my votes! I would lovelovelove to see Avery on your boys’ list, too–I know it’s popular for girls, but it’s pretty popular for boys, too, and I think it’s so handsome! It’s a form of Alfred. I would never name my daughter Alfred. :) Then again, Avery is one of my very favorites for a boy, and a family name for me, so I’m incredibly biased there. I never really understood the appeal on a girl.

    Good luck!

I love Ainsley Elizabeth! (I do prefer it with the i.) I also love the name Avery for a girl. For boy’s I’ve always liked the name Brody and I like it with Andrew most. Logan is also a great strong name. I like Grayson but it sometimes sounds like Gracelynn, and I really like Ryder, but it is a little hick-ish, so it depends on if it fits your family! :)

Thank you guys for the responses. It’s crazy bc I always thought I knew what names I would use and then I find out I’m pregnant and become clueless. I love all your suggestions. How does one ever pick “the name”?! I feel like Brody is my standout boy name at this point but everyone seems to like a different girl name so I’m not sure. I’m definitely still open to suggestions that seem to fit my style!!!

I think most of the names on your list are pretty common trendy names for right now. Some of your girl names are also trendy boy names (Avery, Sawyer, and Reese) and Ainsley is a masculine/surname that is a trendy name for girls these days. Grayson (and it’s spelling variants) is common for both genders these days and Ryder, Logan, and Brody are all passing trends with boy names. Whatever you pick will fit right in.

Personally, I think Elizabeth June and Josiah Graham are the clear stand outs on your list. I like the variety of nicknames for both of those and how they don’t sound like dated trends. They’re classic and they age well. Elizabeth could be Liza, Eliza, Liz, Libby, Betsy, Bess, Ella, Ellie, Beth, Lily, or any of the bazillion nicknames for Elizabeth out there. Josiah could be Joe or Joss or Sy. It’s easy for me to pick a favorite here! Best of luck!

I really like Elizabeth June or Caroline Reese! Avery and Sawyer are boys names to me, I really don’t like them on girls, and Isabel’s really pretty, but it’s still so popular, I’d be hesitant to use it.
For boys, I LOVE Grayson, but I agree, it’s getting pretty trendy, so I might be hesitant about it, like Isabel. Grayson Andrew sounds really great, though! I like Logan Andrew a lot, too.

Our preference for a name is to choose something that is not too terribly common or overdone but not too out there at the same time. It’s a hard niche to be in. The reviews here seem to be mixed. Some like the unisex names and some don’t. Why can’t one name just stand out and yell, “pick me, I’m the one!” ????
