I think it’s pretty but from personal experience (of knowing an Ariella) a lot of people find it teasably close to areola. :/ Would you consider Ariana, Arabella, Aurora, Mariela, or something else simlar instead?

I think Arielle is still very pretty but doesn’t have the teasing factor or sound too over the top.

For siblings: Owen or Spencer. Grace or Jocelyn.

I like Ariella a lot. It’s growing in popularity (pretty quickly, from what I’ve heard), so maybe as there are more and more Ariellas, the teasing will diminish? I would love to meet an Ariella, personally. It has two of my favorite nns (Ari and Ella!) right in it, and I love that it means “lion of God”. Arielle is lovely and chic and French, but Ariella is so sweet and frilly and unexpected. I would love to meet an Ariella. I like @yellowwatts suggestions of Owen, Spencer, Grace, or Jocelyn for her siblings. I would add:

    Elliot
    Lucy
    Georgia
    Henry
    Willow
Serena (especially Serena! Ariella and Serena, how beautiful are they? I think Ariella Willow would be beautiful for a combo, too. :) Maybe I’m biased, though, because if my friend had had all three girls when she had her triplets, they were going to be Charlotte, Arielle, and Serena. I think Arielle/Ariella and Serena are lovely together!)
    Charlotte
    Katherine/Catherine

    Good luck!

omg areola! see thats one concern i have about names. that i will not notice a teasing association but others will. lol. this is why you should ask people before choosing a name. also ash, its funny you suggested serena. i recently heard this name and think its also a fabulous pretty underused name.

Lol uh, areola aside, Ariella is a pretty name XD
Doesn’t that suck? You love a name… and then you realize that it sounds like something that you certainly don’t want to refer to your child as. It happens a lot :D
