Anyone else into weight lifting?
I’ve dabbled in strength training/weight lifting a bit and did some work with DH this winter/spring. This week I’ve finally started a structured program (New Rules of Lifting for Women) and am liking it so far. I have heard SO much about how good it is for you, better than cardio, and I’m glad I’m finally doing it. Anyone else into lifting? If so, what do you do? Or any tips for a newbie?
I am trying to do this 3x/wk now and then HIIT and some running (to keep that up) about 3-4 times a week as well, plus the occasional Zumba class for variety. I plan to double up on lifting and HIIT some days so I will still get 1-2 rest days per week.
