Christmas day has almost come and gone. We still have another celebration left with my parents and sister (not this weekend but next), BUT I’m a little sad. Does anyone else feel a little bittersweet with December 25th comes to and end and December 26th comes around???

    Kinda.

I’m about christmas’d out, but the first few days after Christmas are always a bit of a bummer .

I could cry – it was so so magical this year. The kids were both so thankful and excited that it was amazing. It was one of those times that I felt that I was doing something *right* as a parent

I’m super bummed too. I always feel like there was more I could’ve gotten or done that would have made it better for them. And as always, my husband bought me way more than I got him and I feel bad about that. We also got each other some duplicate gifts so I’m just “meh” about that part. Don’t get me wrong, the presents are NOT what Christmas is about but we both worked so hard to pick out special things and then it was a little disappointing. Oh well, at least it’s stuff we’ll use!

Best of Christmas is that you are with your friends and relatives all your close and dear ones everyone is in party mood and every one is enjoying.again one has to wait for a year to enjoy all this.

I always feel bummed after January 1. There’s so much excitement in the fall, with birthdays, Halloween and Thanksgiving and x-mas shopping. Then before you know it, it’s x-mas and new years, plus a lot of Dec bdays in the family. And then it’s…months of cold with no end in sight and nothing exciting to do. I’m an outdoor person who hates the cold, so winter and most of spring just bite.

Not really; my boys’ birthday is January 6 so we gear up for that next. We didn’t get around to taking down our Christmas decorations till yesterday (!) and I was a little sad about it, but also glad to get our normal living room arrangement one since we had to arrange things a little oddly to make room for the tree.
