Poludeukes (also spelled Polydeukes, and Latinized as Polydeuces) was the twin brother of Castor. Together Castor and Poludeukes (also called Pollux in Roman mythology) were known as the Dioskouroi. This means 'sons of Zeus', although some versions of their legend have Tyndareus as their father. Their mother was Leda and their sisters Helen and Clytemnestra.
