Some times one will see the Arabic derived Nahla as meaning "honey bee". This isn't entirely wrong, but Nahla refers more to how the honey bee acts or what it does, drawing nectar from the flower, than it does the bee itself. It basically means a draught of anything, like a drink of water.

In 2008, Halle Berry named her daughter Nahla.

You will sometimes also see this name spelled Nahlah, although it is likely a more modern anglicization.
