Echo is a nymph with many Greek myths attached to her. One says that Zeus used Echo to distract Hera during his adulterous affairs; to punish Echo, who loved the sound of her own voice, Hera rendered her only able to repeat the last words of other people.
Echo and the Bunnymen were a British new wave group in the late 1970's and 1980's.
