Saint Abdiesus was a Christian Deacon who was imprisoned for his beliefs and refusing to worship the Sun during the persecution by King Shapur II. He was martyred in Persia, circa 342. Feast day is April 22. He was also known as Habed Jesus or Habedjesus.
