|

Why do men do this? I have noticed they do this a lot. Another thing, why do they miss the toilet? If they have problems aiming, they should just sit down. Another thing, why do they leave a mess and not clean up? I have just wondered this and now that I think about it, I would really like to know why. Maybe you men could explain why you continue to furiate women. Why do men even need to stand up up pee? They are better off sitting down and not making messes. I'm not saying all men do this but for those of you that do, WHY?

hehehe... thanks that was funny
I actually grew up with a lot of boys around... then I went to university and had all boys as roomates so maybe I can offer some insights...
Excuses:
1) "Well i have to put it up everytime i have to pee... why should i have to put it down for you?"
2) "I cant sit down, it touches the water and thats gross"
3) "you know you couldnt hit it everytime if you had to stand up"
4) "we out number you... maybe you should remember to put it up when your done"
anyway that is what i always heard hope that offers some insight... Just deal with it and remember to check first!! i have fallen in before haha
good luck

Lol thanx for the laugh! Something gross that always happens to me. My hubby will use the bathroom, with the seat down, and of course miss, and get all over the toliet seat. Well, obviously, he doesnt have the curtisy to clean it up. In the middle of the night, when I have to tinkle.....I end up feeling my bottom all wet....WITH HIS PEE! It is so gross, and I am constantly yelling at him about it. Gosh, it is so aggravating!

Well I would like to offer a males perspective here. You are right we do leave the toilet seat up... however you do always leave it down. Now I am under the impression that you are all big girls and you do understand how the seat works. When it is up if you give it a little tap it will come down, yes i marvel at the wonder of hinges everyday.
I dont really know why there is a mess after, maybe your husband has a little extra pressure in the pipes adn it splashes. There is actually a game on the internet where you ladies get to try your luck peeing standing up after a few beers. I dont remember the site but i urge you to give it a shot.
The reason we pee standing up is because that is how we were taught to do it at a very young age and were congratulated for it when we did.
Now to solve all of your problems my wife has put u[ signs over every toilet in the house simply stating:
The toilet seat goes down
There is a silver knob to your left, push it and see what happens
aim for the center, its your best bet
Good luck
now we have a lot of younge nephews running around the house on a regular basis so i like to pretend that the notes are not for me

I agree completely with Husband. I use the same argument with my wife. When she asks why I don't put it down, I ask why she doesn't put it up. It works both ways. Women seem to think they own the toilet seat. You like it down, we like it up. So, why should we be forced to leave it down to accomodate you? Why not put it up for us once in a while? My wife counters with the argument that if she gets up in the night to use the toilet, and it's up, she'll fall in. How hard is it to check it? We have to check, or we'll make a mess. Why can't women check it?
As for messes, that shouldn't happen, at least not when he's sober. Aiming is very simple. There shouldn't be a problem.

THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU CAN'T CLEAN UP IF YOU MISS THE TOILET! I DON'T UNDRSTAND WHY YOU THINK IT'S OK TO LEAVE IT FOR THE WOMAN TO CLEAN UP. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DO THAT, IT IS COMPLETE LAZYNESS!

Gentlemen of this site......
I agree with you that the seat thing should go both ways BUT have you ever sat on an icy cold seat and landed in the water at 3 A.M because your wife left the seat up for you? I dont think so, it is a very rude awakening. I would guess after one time you would change your mind, and just leave the seat down.

That's exactly the argument my wife uses. Like I said, we have to check the seat before we use the toilet, because if it's down, we have to put it up. Checking it should also work both ways.
