I like it. Isnt' one of the brother's from "Nelson" named that?

Ricky Nelson's sons, they were singers in the early 90s.
Yep, one's name was Gunnar, and that's what I think of too when I see it.

OMG I used to love Nelson!!!!! so i totally know what you're talking about, anyway-

I really dont like the name- I really dont think names that promote violence should be used- like Hunter and Gunnar- Plus I really loathe "or, er or ar" names like Connor, Kylar, etc or "hillbillie names" like Jackson, Preston, Houston, etc.

Gunnar is a proper name, although you're right it does tie in with the modern trend of Hunter and Blade. Scandinavian, isn't it? I think it's nice enough, but nothing special. Put it on the "maybe" list.

I agree. Gunnar may be a legitimate "name" but it still sounds too violent... i guess i really just don't like Guns. Sad It may flow well as a mn though.

I prefer Gunner. It is a little hickish but I really don't mind that if it's tasteful.
