I've always thought Haleigha was a pretty Hawaiin name for a girl. I think it means "house of the rising sun".

hey. well. i live in hawaii and i hear hawaiian names all the time. juss dont name your kid kekoa, koa, lei, lani, kawika, ikaika, or keala. theres juss too much of them. lol. maybe these will help.

Lanikai (La-knee-k-eye)-- heavenly sea.
Noelani (know-eh-la-knee) -- beautiful girl from heaven.
Keilana (kay-la-nuh) -- adored one.

my cousins name is kaleihokupomaikaiokalanikiekie. pronounced (kuh-lay-ho-coo-oh-kuh-la-knee-key-eh-key-eh) =) and my other cousins name is kalai'ku pronounced as (kuh-luh-ee-coo)

Very Happy I'm not Hawaiian, in this life, but I'm pretty sure in my first life, Hawaiian. Lol. But I adore Hawaiian names! My favorites:

Nani [nah-nee] means beautiful
Leilani [lay-lah-nee] means heavenly flower
Malia [mah-lee-ah] means Mary
Kai (boy name) [kye] means, well actually I don't know what it means

Good luck finding that perfect name!

My nephews name is Kai, it means ocean according to my sister; and i didn't like his name at first but now I love it! And all hawaiian girl names sound beautiful.
