Well, it came as news to me when my husband of two years told me two weeks ago that he'd met someone and wanted a divorce. We've been trying for a baby for almost a year and a half with no luck. My period always came right on time as usual. But, wouldnt you know it, Im a week late this time......So, what should I do? I have a FEELING Im not pregnant (I guess just because I never could get pregnant in the past) but at the same time I am DYING to know if my period is late just because it is or whether there is something ELSE going on......so, has anyone else been in a position like this? Where they tried and tried and then when they finally think, "alright, this isnt a good time anyways" they get pregnant?
So, do you think I should go out and buy a test tonight? Or wait and see if Aunt Flow comes to visit??????
Knowing is better then not knowing. It lets you make your decisions on facts. I also think if its positive he should be told personally, no matter what you decide to do at that point. Im sure there are others that would feel differntly
If you are, and decide to keep the baby, baby needs to come #1. Good prenatal care is paramount no matter what happens with you and hubby.
If you have not read my other posts: im 30, 15 weeks pregnant and from the looks of it my bf of 2.5 years is going to disappear like the invisible man. Sucks big time but I made the choice to keep this baby so thats what Im doing. Keeping baby and keeping Charlie and I both healthy.
Stress can really do a number on your body. Take everyone's advice and take a pregnancy test! You may be late because of the stress of your husband's revelation which is why your period has not come as it usually does. Either way, you're better off knowing.
