Collect soda bottles. Ask friends and family if they can save there's for you. Do you get a refund for them? Here, where I am, we get 5 cents back for every can or bottle.

Walk dogs.

Make something to sell. Like necklaces or something. Sell it on e-bay.

That's always a good idea. If you can find a cheap supply of goods that you know you can sell on eBay with a markup, then it's easy money.

Hmm Bismarck what would you suggest as a "small business" that wouldn't take up too much time and would be quite profitable?

Nothing legal. Wink

There's no quick, easy way to make a lot of money with little or no risk and with no capital to start. If there was, everybody would be doing it. It takes capital to make capital. You'll have to start slow and small. Offer to do yardwork for the neighbours. Mow lawns in the summer, rake leaves in the autumn, and shovel snow in the winter. Deliver newspapers. Babysit. Walk dogs. These are all activities that can fetch a reasonable amount of money without being formal jobs that you parents could disapprove of.

My family and I pick blackberries in the summer and sell them to different businesses for $25.00 a flat. Sometimes it's tough with the heat and all, but you can actually make quite a bit of money fairly quick. I've also made a nice chunk of change in the past by doing yard work for others (especially the elderly) and shopping for them. You'd be surprised how many people will pay you to plant flowers!

My brother is a genius when it comes to anything computer related, so he helps people with their technical needs for a fee. I don't know if you know much about computers, but if you do, you could use that. Anything you know a lot about could be of financial help to you really, you've just got to think about it.

I suggest you try option #1. If your parents won't let you get a job, set up a small business of your own. Determine an area where there is a demand, and supply it.

You could do the garage sale and maybe have a bake sale along with it.
