I remember this actress in some soap opera when I was really young and her name was Marama Oke.
Does anyone know anything about the names Marama and Oke? Orgin, meaning...

These words are of Maori origin, That Being the indigenous People of New Zealand or Aotearoa as is locally known.

The word Marama is used in many contexts through-out the language and has great Spiritual significance. Some definitions include: Enlighten, Light, Moon, Clarity, Unequivocal.

The word Oke means: ailing from, or to struggle with.

However in this case only the family or individulal could shed light on the exact meaning or Significance of the Name.
