I agree with Megan Ann- NOT NOT NOT Mortisha or Aphrodite- bleugh!!! Celeste is pretty - and the meaning- 'Heavenly'- makes it even nicer. It is unusual- but so much people will laugh at your child. They will do that with Mortisha and Aphrodite. And for boys, please don;t choose 'Elian' as Nicole suggested- it sounds and looks like 'alien'.

Ummm...I don't think Mortisha is a real name. I think the creator of the Adam's Family made it up by adding "isha" to the word "Mort" which means dead. Hence the word "mortician" which is a person who fixes up dead people. It would be like naming your daughter Cruella after hearing that in 101 Dalmations.

Aphrodite isn't quite as bad as Mortisha, but the word "hermaphrodite" does come to mind.

Celeste is nice. Go with that one.
