Jamal is a name I like very much. I don't consider it very 'ghetto', allthough it's gained popularity in afro-american communities.

i don't think the names on your list are necessarily "ghetto"...except for Jybonte and Akwante. When i think "ghetto names", i think of very made up names like D-Kwon or DeJuan'ae or pronouncing a name differently than it's spelled and capitalizing random letters or adding hyphens and apostrophies where they don't gramatically belong....things like that. I don't speak for everyone, thats just how it is where I'm from...

Ghetto? As far as I know, ghettos were awful, crowded places Jews were sent to during the Holocaust.
But anyway...
Davonte and Akwante are not bad.
Jakori -this sounds Japanese, I really like it.
Jamal is not a bad name at all, but I prefer Jakori.
