Merryn, Ignatius, Aloysius, Donatus WDYT?

Okay so I found these names looking through the Dictionary of Saints that i got and I really like them. They are now on our list for boys.

I was wondering what everyone thought of them, I realize that they are really uncommon but they are still known names.

Aloysius
Boniface
Casimir
Demetrius
Donatus
Erasmus
Ignatius- NN Nate
Merryn

I like Ignatius because the Feast day for Saint Ignatius is the Due Date of the baby. Plus I have always liked the name for some reason. LOL.

Aloysius I like because he is the patron Saint of Youth, Boys and Bishops among some others I think but I think the first two are very appropriate.

Merryn I saw and just was so drawn to it for some reason. Smile

Wow, these names so remind me of my entire year of AP European history class! Laughing

I rather like Ignatius and Demetrius, though I like Dimitri more. The others are okay...I wouldn't use them but I don't dislike them.

Aloysius-nms because it looks hard to say and hard for a little kid to write out
Boniface- Has the word FACE in it and kids might call him uglyface or something to that affect.
Casimir- One of the better choices
Demetrius- Also a better choice
Donatus- nms
Erasmus-no nmsaa
Ignatius- NN Nate. um... Nate is cute for Nathan or Nathaniel. I saw Iggy!! NMS
Merryn- Looks very feminine to me because of the y. It reminds me of Tarryn
