Lexus sounds way too commercial superficial and not very imaginative-almost soapbox Chad-
IMHO-
would rather be less showy and hint- if you were to go the 'Lexus' route...

The Mercecdes car was named after the daugther of the guy who build it, or something like that.
It makes me think of the girl in the Count of Monte Cristo.

Ok...my name is Lexus...it's been ok. I think I am going to keep it. My dad liked the name, perhaps personal reasons, perhaps, I don't know. It's a different take on Alexis, which I don't like. Or Alexia which I don't like even more. In the end, if iwanted to TWEAK my name to something "more normal" I wouldn't.
I got the normal teasing in school--just as much as my friend Katie. People find ways to tease normal names just as much as kinda abnormal, kinda normal names.
OK...in turn...I like the name Lexus:-) Putting a color next to it may be a little different. Lexus Blue...Lexus Jade. I don't know about it. I like Lexus with your last name:-)
A Lexus, who survived every single car comparison and pun out there.
PS--I think Lexus..I think Luxury, but I am biased!

I like Lexus.
However I'm not so struck on Jade. I think it's because it's become a little overused in the past 10 years. Also the UK Big Brother star, Jade Goody, puts me off the name.
And as for the people suggesting Alexis, I personally have always seen that as more suited to a boy than a girl.
I generally think that Lexus is the best spelling, Because I went through the other possibilities and I'm not so struck on them:
Lexis
Lexys
Leksus
Leksis

I think Lexus would be okay as a nn for an Alex- name, but I don't like it on its own. Jade is too popular, and I really don't like it at all.
