Hi!! My name is Amber, and my husband and I are on our third and last child. I have a son, Cameron Seth-Keith, 5, and a daughter, Kaylynn Ann, 3. We are expecting a little girl on October 4, 2004, and are debating names for her. I like the name Kaliyah Michelle. Please feel free to tell me what you all think of this name. Oh, and by the way, I love this site. It's good to see people helping others out, yet not afraid to speak their mind at the same time. Nice to meet you all :D

hey everyone,
Im Nichole and im 18 years old. I am pregnant with my first baby who is due on November 4, 2004. I have been with the father for 4 years. The ultra sound showed that i was having a baby girl and we chose the name Makayla Marie. Nice to meet you Very Happy

Hi everyone, I'm Bess! I'm 16 years old and I've been obsessed with names since I was about 8. I don't have any kids and don't plan to have any, but I enjoy discussing names with other name nerds. My naming style is very traditional, but I'm open to new ideas and some trends. My pet peeve is kreigh8yve spellyngz of perfectly good names. Example? Phrynchezka. Found that on another board a few days ago. It hurts my eyes...(no offense to any fans of "unique" spellings)

My name is Shawna and I am 24. I had my daughter, Kelsey Nicole, at the age of 19. Now, I am 21 weeks 5 days pregnant with my second baby. We just found out last week that it is a girl, and it is my husband's first child. He is more excited than I am. I can't walk by without my belly getting poked at or talked to. I am now enjoying pregnancy, after being deathly ill for 2 month. But thanks to my doctor, I am now enjoying the miracle drug Zofran and can eat without being near a bathroom. I lost a total of 19 pounds and spent countless hours in the ER getting fluids. Now it is garage sale season, and nothing is stopping me from hitting the sales! Oh ... I am due Oct 21 with our little Hannah Lynn. Not that I am crazy about the middle name Lynn, but her daddy's is awful proud that he thought that up all by himself ... lol

i am helping a friend find a name for her baby
she and her partner like the name trinity but i warned her that i thought it was too current with regards to the film matrix-yikes ! Twisted Evil

and that it sounded too religious
also wud like to find a name in any language and any origin
any suggestions?
i like the name niamh (pronounced neve)
and having grown up with a name that is usually spelled wrong i know how difficult it can be as a child
usually in the early years i was either mistaken for a boy -don or the other kids thought it was don with a "W"
hence "D O W N" Shocked

not great for a young girls self esteem Crying or Very sad

Hi, I am Sacha. I am a 22 year old South African living in London. My boyfriend and I have had numerous disagreements about names as his family all have traditional names and mine all have unusual names. A friend referred me to this site in my bid to reach a compromise!

P.S. We have still not agreed on any names! Laughing

Hi everyone My name is Melissa and hubby's name is Jon. We have a daughter who will be eight yrs old this August, her name is Morgan Leigh. At this time I am thinking that I may be PG again but have yet to test nor tell hubby because of the let down that happens if not Crying or Very sad

But needless to say I am one that has always been obsessed with names and have found this site extremly interesting!! and yes very addicting!!!!

I like talking about names and hearing what other people are naming their babies.

!! I alway's thought being pregnant would be soooo easy...boy was i wrong!! from the morning/night sickness (that i still have yet to overcome) too the painful stretching that you can actually feel in your abdomin..too the terrible mood swings i have!! I am the proud aunt of ashton reese...loving fiance...and sister of 3!! I've read these forums for about the past month..but just now registered....that's about all the good details i have....im ready to be open to any suggestions you all have..seeing as how most of you are already parents...or first timers yourself Razz
