Hi..
My name is Hilary and I am 16 years old expecting twins. I am happy, nervous, supported, and stressed all at once- but what mother-to-be isn't?? I am with my boyfriend who has been my best friend since 1st grade, we've actually only been dating for about a year and a half now! I hope I replied to this correctly... I'm a 23 year old married female from Cleveland, Ohio. Currently living too far away from my friends and family in Virginia Beach, VA.
I have no kids yet, but the hubby and I decided when we hit 25, we would work on that.
I love this site, I've been lurking around for a few months, decided to finally register and participate.

Hello to all, I am happy to be here. I have a grandchild due in the first week of August which will be number 8 for us. I am only 45, so I guess I am kinda still a young grandma? At least that is what everyone says to me. But I love every minute of it. They are wonderful. I have been trying to help my daughter find a name for her new daughter. I think she has decided on Emilee Raeanne. Which will be a combo of my mothers name and my name all mixed up together along with her husbands great grandmothers name. Shocked

Let me know what you all think of her choice. I hate my name Carrieann but I've been stuck with it for so long I guess I will just have to live with it. Nice to meet you all, and good luck with all the new future babies that are due soon. Have a great day! Carrieann Smile

My name is Beth. I am the mother of six. I named the first three after people we have known and loved. Matthew Howard, Maggie Marie and Katie Beth. The girls are twins. Then after many years as foster parents we adopted Bill. He is officially William Seth. Then a few years later we adopted two girls who are not birth sisters. Crystal Jane and Emily Grace. Emily is the only one whose birth name we didn't change. We felt it was the perfect name for her. She was only three weeks old when we got her and she is the heartbeat of our family. We did change the middle names of Crystal and Bill because we wanted them to have family names. I don't think it is good to change adopted children's names if they are older. My husband is a detective and I am a stay at home mother and I keep a baby during the school year for a dear friend. Sorry to be so long. I just found this site and enjoy it a lot. We are expecting our second grandson in August and baby names are a big topic right now.

Hi, I'm Steve. I've been on this site for a couple of weeks now. I don't exactly remember why I first surfed in. Which brings up another issue. I'm 51 and the memory fairy doesn't visit very often anymore. But I do remember how I got hooked. People where asking for help naming their babies. Oh Hell Yes! I exclaimed. Even I can do that. I know a lot of people and every damn one of them has a name. My two boys have names, my dog has a name and my wife has two names. The one I call to her face and the one I use when I'm feeling brave. When I suggest a name on this site it isn't something that just popped into my head. Oh no,no,no,no,no. I have a process. A technique, a special way to make the sounds blend and resonate and finally to become music. Well, not really, I just made that up. So basically I find it fun and relaxing. My boys names you asked? OK you didn't, anyway they are: Benjamin Eric and David Eliot.
