While chatspeak at Baby Names World is strongly discouraged, here are the common abbreviations and acronyms that are used. If I have missed any, please respond here or PM me.

AF -- Aunt Flow (your peried)
AP -- attachment parenting
BBT -- basal body temperature
BC -- birth control
BD-- baby dance (sex)
BF -- breastfeed/ing
BFN -- big fat negative
BFP -- big fat positve
BIL -- brother-in-law
BTDT -- been there, done that
BTW -- by the way
CAF -- create a family (name games)
CD -- cycle day
CIO -- cry it out
CM -- cervical mucus
DC -- darling child
DD -- darling daughter
DF -- darling fiance
DH -- darling husband
DPO -- days past ovulation
DS -- darling son
DSD -- darling stepdaughter
DSS -- darling stepson
DW -- darling wife
EBF -- exclusively breastfeeding
EBM -- expressed breastmilk
EDD -- estimated due date
EN -- extended nursing
ETA -- edited to add
EWCM -- egg white cervical mucus
FF -- formula feeding/fed
FIL -- father-in-law
FTR -- for the record
FWIW -- for what it's worth
FYI -- for your information
GF -- girlfriend
GP -- guilty pleasure
HPT -- home pregnancy test

Another one I see a lot on the TTC board is NTNP. I believe it means "not trying not to get pregnant." I was proud of myself for figuring that out because usually I do have to consult with this post. If I got it wrong please let me know.

Another one I saw on the TTC board that I didn't know was WW. Do you know what this stands for? I'm afraid that I can't recall the context anymore.

Yeah, NTNP means not trying, not preventing. I'll add it. I've no idea what WW is.

I'm a TTC lurker, and I'm pretty sure WW refers to 2WW, as in the 2-week-waiting period after ovulation when you can use a pregnancy test. Correct me if I'm wrong!

For instant messaging, it means "best friends forever", but it might mean something else hear. :S
