Getting pregnant after having tubes tied

I'm not actually pregnant, but I have a question and I'm not sure where to post it. Has anyone gotten pregnant after having their tubes tied or known someone who has? I had my tubes tied after my last son was born. However, lately I've been having a lot of vivid dreams about me having another baby. I'm just wondering if these dreams mean anything or if they are just that - dreams?

I don't know anyone personally but I have heard that it can happen...in fact the statistics say that you are more likely to get PG after tubes tied than while on the pill (asssuming you take them correctly)

The likelihood is even higher if you had your tubes tied right after giving birth...the body is designed to bear children and it "fixes" itself after you mess up its child-bearing system. In some cases it is successful enough for you to get pregnant again, especially if it is already healing other parts at the time.

I'm not saying you are pregnant, just that it IS possible, just very very uncommon!

I certainly hope the chances of getting pregnant after having your tubes tied are slim. Maybe you are just subconsciously wishing for another baby?

I had mine tied in August and personally...I really couldn't imagine having another baby Shocked
