Arabic name?

I met a woman named Koshala. I'm guessing at the spelling, but this is how it sounded: ko-SHA-la. I asked her about it and she said it was Arabic. Has anyone ever hear this name? Know anything about it? Know a correct spelling, if this isn't right?

O.K. I did a quick google search. It seems to be Indian. It is a name and a place. What do you think of Koshala? I think it's pretty.

Dislike. I cannot imagine that name being Arabic. You could ask a member of Arabian origins if it is legimate. I believe LadyR is Arabian.
